much Moscow provides to India?

It could be a thorn brother, but it has to be noted that the likes of France have called for an end to refusing weapons sales to China. As for aligning with China and by default distancing from the West, that calls for clever foreign policy. It can be done to keep both happy. Western/Chinese trade is colossal and set to increase, which sets the scene for amicable relations. It's a very grey area.
As for Germany's treatment of Saudi Arabia, each state is different, and the Germans were very eager to sell to us. Of course things can go South, that's why the Chinese deal is actively being pursued at the sametime. We will just have to wait and see.

Good cop,bad cop,just for every Euro country to court favour in other business related fields and with it some investement.Once France says we want to lift the embargo but those pessky Brits refuse so we can't because there isn't a consensus.Than the UK says "we changed our mind but those Germans their liberal views,that Frau Merkel is in the way",after that "why U Sweden oppose it ?".And so on.They've been doing this with Turkey's accession for years.

I would have said take the news with a pinch of salt, but this piece of news is consistent with French statements in the past. They are also deeply tied in with India over various deals.

I say look to the Germans. The old HDW offer should be revived i.e. the 214......

German subs = no missile integration ..

Rafale or no Rafale they took 2 billion $ only in the Mirage upgrade deal.I won't start with other deals they have going now.

And the submarine deal would have benefited how much? Not to mention if the deal of avionics package for JF-17 would have taken place. Anyways France has made a choice and we will make ours.

because a Nuke sub is different , PN have make one Augosta at KSY ...so i guess they can make more .. but question what are their requirement now ?
and new platform with ToT means new information , and it will help Pakistan to complete their own N-sub
