Well it is impossible to gain Pakistan's trust back to purchase French equipments and you have to work hard to show loyalty and reliable supplier to Pakistan.

Pakistan already found other suppliers much better in terms of trustworthy, reliable, and commitments, France offer zero business.

Exactly,they're out there to make a buck.If Pakistan would have been the first to order 6-10 Scorpenes in a multi billion euro deal i'm pretty sure they would have asked that the same sub won't be sold to India "x" years later.It's just common sense.

Well,if China is so powerfull i don't see why they need European weapons and i really don't see why Europe should sell,only to have their products ripped off down the line.They have enough contracts with China's neighbours for example.

By not selling weapons to countries such as Pakistan, the Europe will create a vacuum that will later be filled by China, the same country Europe is unsuccessfully trying to contain. The amount and resources China is investing in the R&D is only going to pay and the evidence is everywhere to see. With the opportunity to do more business, she will only get more money to invest in more R&D that will result in more advanced technology. On the other hand, slow business will hurt European R&D for there will be less money for R&D. Cant Europe see this?

I'm not aware of any European embargo on Pakistan.France won't probably sell submarines due to the ongoing contracts with India but Sweden(their new A26 looks like a gem in the making),Germany will most likely sell if the money are there.

Germans may sell but reason is modifying it to launch CM ... Pakistan will not buy a Sub with no CM capability and AIP ...

I would have said take the news with a pinch of salt, but this piece of news is consistent with French statements in the past. They are also deeply tied in with India over various deals.

I say look to the Germans. The old HDW offer should be revived i.e. the 214......

German sub technology is superior to French technology in all aspects. But I guess the Germans do not offer incentives (Read: Commission) as do the French.
