If you're not familiar with the Russian-French relationship you won't understand Macron's statement. They want to cooperate with Russia in Syria through Turkey. This is typical for France. They can't do it openly because of the Americans. They always had very close relationships with Orthodox nations, even with Serbia during the Yugo Wars.

True- The French turned a blind eye to the Serbian atrocities in Bosnia, and to an extent watched the horrors from the sidelines with Serbian politicians.

You might say radiation is a bit problematic but I don’t think strawberries growing as big as apples and chickens with 6 wings are something bad. It’s economically feasible to say the least.

Aahhh... Vergennes. The thing you propose is also a good idea but for France not for Turkey. Unfortunately we have this mess right next to us.

Wish there was a way to magically move Turkey to the middle of the Atlantic so we can be away from all the bull crap happening in this damned region.
