There were constant questions as to the guilt of the Libyans.

The bomb used was identical (even the same make of radio) which the palestinians used.

Certainly questions need to be asked.

I don't even know that individual. The theories and rumors of Iran's involvement have been ongoing for years. I only commented in this thread because I saw an documentary 2 days ago about Lockerbie where this was discussed.

Iran clearly had an motive. 6 months earlier an similar civilian jet was shut down by the US. Gaddafi had ties with Iran. Iranian intelligence at that time and after that incident were behind similar attacks in Lebanon and elsewhere.

We don't know the truth but knowing that pariah state and their past and present actions everything is possible and that's what we are discussing here.
