They have the advantage of a single party state, however since our political heads have used the clever British laws that were meant to preserve British power in India, I am sure we can use something in there as a 'legal' means to bunt these scumbags out of India.

These guys have no idea how it will affect the future generations. The best way is to build it in a way that is least hazardous to the local population.

Many of these NGO's (and most of the missionaries) are essentially "political weapons", and they serve their own interests.
They make a mockery out of genuine charity.

Most of Christian Missionaries and NGOs in India are CIA outfits.

We aren't talking about all but specifically those NGOs which are here to serve other countries interest and barricade our country and it's people's development.

The irony of these posts ^^^^ to me is that all of the supposed evils being perpetrated by NGO's in India are ALSO being perpetrated in my country, the USA, by both the same NGO's and by the Democratic Party and the administration of Barack Obama. The underlying philosophy is democratic socialism combined with extreme environmentalism. It is not anti-India, it is anti-human economic development. The god of this movement is Nature, and man is the enemy.

either u are for environment or u are for development.
both cannot go along,,,especially for a country like india.

we have no option but to use coal as its the cheapest form of energy and we have vast reserves.
as for environment,,,,we must do as much as we can but development is the priority here or we will forever be in 5 % growth category

This is about things like the KKNP protest, which was completely created out of lies. Some political science graduate writes total nonsense about nuclear power, complete with fake stats about the area, and brings people from local churches by giving them biriyani packets (most of them were not even sure why they were there), to stall a very vital power project for weeks together. And then they demand to see secret agreements between two countries, and random shady foreign guys appear and disappear at different times during the whole drama. Best of all...this Udayakumar claimed to know more about nuclear power than Abdul Kalam.
Also remember various ngos taking money for womens welfare and then searching gujarat for non existent human graves, to defame modi and hence change the whole political scenario of the nation? Then there was that Medha patkar lady, who tried to influence supreme court judges, among other things. These are the kind of things that the IB is worried about.
Legitimate ngos raising concerns about the environment will not be affected that much.
