For those who make fun at China's jet engine

you never know how many Chinese engineers and pilot died for jet engine development.

lol then you dont know how many people died for the CFM 53 engine used in Boeing 737, it went past 1,000 the other day and will only be more if the engine are still in circulation.

the start point is different, we start from higher level. the way we do things are extremely cautious. we reference to lots of tragedy in the past.

Only an idiot would say we can't produce engine. The issue is not that we can't produce engine. The issue is that we lack enough precision manufacturing plant and machinery to produce in large quantity. Thus the need to buy from foreign firms to help with the supply demand. Give us another decade or two as we are slowly addressing this problem and building more precision plants. We have the blueprint, technique, and skill. We only need time. Time will also help maturing an engine and allowing us to trial and error.

Do you know that the disc alloy of the turbofan engine was forged by these extrusion presses?

And here is the US counterpart, and where is the UK and France? Because all you have to do is to send your pieces to the US and ask them to do the forgery for you.

So stop comparing yourselves with China, since China has its own complete technological ecosystem, while you guys depend on the US on most of parts.

just few days back there were news that China shall use russian engine in its Jet. Now a new great wave of Sarcasm has hit some Chinese. J10 is better than rafale, China shall overtake US in engine technology.

We lack the skillful assembly workers for most of the known problems.

Since the policy of the workers' retirement at the age of 55 is effing retarded, the proper age for the retirement should be around 65.

BTW, the assembly workers of the age around 60 are truly the jewels of the high-end manufacturing sectors, since they are capable of producing the real craftsmanship with those cumulative experiences and capabilities.

I think also people forget the turboshaft of China has made geat stride. Our WZ-10 gunship,Z-19, Z-20 and Z-18 are all using domestic engine since PW Canada was fined once by US for supplying turbo shaft to China military. So no way those engine in those helo are foreign supply. All domestic build.
