I think 9/11 was not possible without the involvement of cia or American govt.no doubt the people who carry out attack was terrorists but actual plan was of either mossad or cia.this type of incident happened before where mossad tried to take out US president when he was applying too much pressure on Israel.In that particular case executioners were arabs but planning was done by mossad.for rough idea see movie "vantage point"

it is also very hard to digest that cia who can read no plate of car via satellite and nsa who can virtually intercept any call and read any mail around the world can't get wind of this terror plot.how is it possible that all intelligence agencies of the world fail regarding such a huge plot.and if any of them know they don't informed cia.

^^ The capabilities of the CIA/NSA are grossly overestimated because of movies like the "Bourne" series and others. Movies aren't real life. The CIA at best has never been more than average, and all you need to do is look at its history, a string of spectacular failures in many cases. Bay of Pigs, anyone? Again with the Israel thing. No one here is concerned that Pakistan is going to attack. And again, China is a valued trading partner who also holds a lot of our treasury notes. It is in our interest to see China economically advance.

The roots of the "Israel controls the U.S. controls Israel" thing is in the cold war, when the USSR and US were at loggerheads around the world, and each was looking to check the other.
