with respect, China and ALL Chinese should be focusing more on the near-term future, publicly, than they do on the near-term past.
and 'the hard-liners' in China and those orginally from China, should be a lot less arrogant against the triumphant west alliance. you should also hate us less, because there is still time to retain peaceful diplomatic ties between us. trade, tourism, inventions, all can be shared peacefully, leading to much national pride among Chinese, and in a MUCH better way than your arrogant approach to building up a Marxist/Socialist/Atheist alliance will ever do. in fact, that approach is counter-productive. humbleness is productive.

this idea is copylefted and donated to humanity by me. you are free to implement it entirely on your own and perhaps even turn it into a business where you take a modest percentage of revenue (the food output) to make the thing economically sustainable and interesting-to-scale-up..


Project requirements

• Use low-cost components, preferably off-the-shelf (existing) components, and preferably no expensive maintenance-sensitive components like electrical pumps.
  
  
• Allow for terrain height variations from seawater harvest point at the coast, to the production area (“evaporation area”) (site of seawater evaporation via sunlight to fresh water), to the farming area (other uses for the freshwater have the same terrain height variation requirement).

  According to http://www.tapstore.com/gravity-fed-water-system you need an elevated water tank at the coast where seawater is sucked up and gravity will provide the force needed to pump it inland to the evaporation area.

• The actual evaporation process, i had thought of to do in two funnels[1] stuck together with perhaps nothing more than duct-tape, one with the narrow end pointing down and one with the narrow end pointing up above that.. See the picture of a funnel to the right of this bulletpoint.
  But since using 2 funnels creates a salt-harvesting problem (evaporating seawater gives you freshwater and seasalt, which could be sold on the open market) at the actual evaporation point midway between the two funnels, it is probably wiser to go for one funnel (narrow end pointing up) on top of a bucket cover (shown to the right), and probably preferably something that has a screw-thread that matches the wide end of the funnel that is to go above it..

again... Iran is neither Marxist nor Communist nor Socialist and definitely aint Atheist. China also has no interest in spreading such ideology. Unlike the west, China doesn't meddle in the domestic politics of other countries and will work with whatever government in charge. What's happening in China and Venezuela are domestic issues and other countries has no right to meddle in. Change your regime change mindset towards other countries and there will be peace.
