For all those who were defending Foreign Nuclear Developent in India, READ

Don't know what Koovie would say but what i Would say is that you have an affinity for nutjob articles.

They may be conspiracy theories, slander post, or partisan arguments made for lobbying.

Russians are using bad quality equipment.By which standards?

This scientist was always biased against Foreign nuclear plants.Every organisation have some.

Nutjob articles? Really? Its from the TOI. Sure, it may not be the best news orgnaization in the world but its Indian, not foreign. Russian equipment is well known for its poor quality when compared to other Western nations. Safety is not exactly an area that is well prepared for in Russian industries. Nothing to do with lobbying, slander, etc. India's own military and soldiers have pushed for diverse weapons procurement for many reasons including this. As for this scientist being biased, I'm not sure. But to be a former head of this AERB, he definitely has the credentials to back it up. I have noticed one particular issue that is whenever anyone points out something negative about this nuclear plant, there are those who will do whatever they can to disclaim it. How about we take a harder look. Issues like this should never be rushed and I know it has taken a long time already but then again what doesn;t take long in India?

Russian parts have always had suspect quality....I am not aware that Kudankulam has american parts......so there is some fire beneath all this smoke..

Dont worry too much about the 'sikulars' attacking you. You have posted facts about their holy cow Rahul Gandhi so expect personal attacks. Soon you are going to be called 'COMMUNAL'

Past posts have indicated anonymous is muslim and koovie is christian.........:cheesy:

How did he find out that the parts are substandard. As far as I know, everything related to a nuke plant is a secret. Someone who isn't in the office, and is known to have a bias towards foreign equipment, cannot be considered an accurate source of information.

Inferior parts being used in Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant: Top scientist

Severe power crisis in Kerala :undecided:...Half an hour unannounced random power-cuts for the last two days, in addition to the official ones. I was thinking about a nuclear reactor exclusively for my own use :P Which one would you recommend??

Based off an Russian investisgation. China has taken steps to look into it. Like I said before, Russian industrail equipment is known the world over for its shoddy safety standards. This is not new. Ask our own military.

Unnecessary? Tit for tat

If that is true, what makes you think the GOI is not taking any steps for investigation? May be they are and they just think public needs not to be informed. Why should we listen to this guy who has a known bias against foreign plants and not our own govt, numerous scientists and engineers, who would also risk their own life in case of an accident cause they would be living there.

Care to explain..

People think I am a Congress follower because I did not like the blog post in that thread. This brainless type of party followers will applaud and hail anything their own party does, while anything that the other party does is bad, evil, BS etc and will try to block it. With this type of politics this nation will end no where.

The irony is that some of them went so far to call me a nazi, while they start to bash and attack anyone who does not conform to their political views

If we can't support a person's choice, we cease to live in democracy.

With this type of politics this nation will end no where.
