In other words, you want big daddy to do what you cannot do. Whatever happened to self respect?Chinese naval presence in Pakistan is the best way to deter India's expantionist hubris.

Let me get this straight - you, being convinced that your navy can never fight us, are hoping that a big, benevolent daddy will fight for you. You are hoping for something that would never happen, and it's me that is desperate? What can be more desparate than knowing your armed forces are useless, and that you will need foreigners to fight your wars for you?Enemy of my Enemy is my friend. Chinese presense will keep the Hindutva regime on its toes and we'll enjoy the show. China is our ally, we will give them access to Karachi as wellif required, they are our bases we can give access to whoever we want. Your despair is extremely comforting to me.

You are building the largest naval base in your country so that navies better than yours can use it? Gee, you must be so proud.
He thinks that because his army is only useful for fighting America's wars and getting some dole (CSF) for that, Chinese army is also the same. Except that China would be giving both dole and soldiers to Pakistan. Because they love Pakistan sooo much. Now, now; when did China fight Pakistan's wars so far? Friends may be okay.....even of the "higher than....., deeper than...., sweeter than....." variety; but when has China become a "Rental Fauji" to fight other people's wars?
There are no "Rental Rajas" in China, just stop fantasizing...... though it is rather amusing.
And an admission that their own forces are useless. Sounds harsh, but that's what their attitude clearly implies.Thats a great post.
Friendly navies do berth in a country's docks.
But suggesting a permanent berth shows weakness, lack of confidence in it forces, lack of sense of sovereignty, lacking of a plan and most importantly fear.
--That's why we are building the largest naval base in Pakistan's history. Chinese subs can sail for 10,000km without refueling, which is more than enough for them to rotate from Gwadar directly.

Sri Lanka's new govt will realise soon enough, guess lessons of LTTE have been forgotten.
--Submarines were not aimed at India, they were aimed at Japan. I don't think China considers India to be worthy of competition to be honest.
Have you ever seen a map?Submarines were not aimed at India, they were aimed at Japan. I don't think China considers India to be worthy of competition to be honest.
They sent submarines on the day Japanese PM came to SL. How does that relate to India? Why would China (about to be the largest economy in the world) lose its sleep thinking about India? India has light years to go until it reaches the level of China so instead of daydreaming about "containing" China, India should spend its resources to improve its economy just like the Chinese did. Indian media is also obsessed with China for some unknown reason but India is rarely mentioned in CCTV and that too for good reasons. Be realistic please.--
Does pak cant handle india .. alwasy need big daddy,,, before USA now china ..
SL as befor and now doing what good for their national interest

So they will refuel in SL for Japan in mind ... good geogrpahy..
Have you ever seen a map?
Do you really think that? Or you are saying that just to boost up your morale by downplaying India's strength, which is really funny BTW.Submarines were not aimed at India, they were aimed at Japan. I don't think China considers India to be worthy of competition to be honest.
Dude, what strength are you talking about? If you read my previous posts you would realise that I actually want to see an economically strong India which is very beneficial for the overall status of South Asia. Saying that India can do jack shit to China is laughable. Any sane member will say the same. It's this sort of mentality that holds South Asia down.Do you really think that?
