Unfortunately, many parts in the country is in such bad shape where they probably don't have the confidence that any politician could help them, or the capacity to follow and care about politics to vote properly. I would think if someone offers short term benefits like biryani for such people just to survive another day, they might as well take it. Also, the literacy rate in our country is nothing to be proud of.

Most of his supporters will not believe any of this and those who would do will forget it because you know as they say Tooi is a Nasha. Musharafs and Imrans will come here and there to do damage control of their deeds but Tooi walas are always destined to rule this nation one way or another.
Some people hate IK and i get it he has surrounded himself with Idiots and is too soft on Corrupt lot in his own party. He lacks the Iron to deal with our Bureaucracy, Judiciary and Establishment and their Games I do hope he learns it quickly but for the time being he is the only option we got.
If he is unable to deal with them he should name them in front of the entire nation and bring down this House of Cards and Web of deceit and lies that has kept our entire Generations in Misery.

Nawaz betrayed Pakistan so have many other leaders in the past.
Nawaz is already disqualified for getting elected to any political position. The matter ends here. You can also bring him back and hang him to show rule of law.
But it seems that your present government is just distracting its citizens from the severe economic crisis. Everyday PTI's spokespersons come up with a different excuse to blame the previous governments without offering any solution to present problems.

Beware of many more 'Nawas' who are still in the country. Now ask yourselves how could a guy like Nawaz manage to come back to Pakistan to rule since he was once kicked out by General Musharraf ? But you guys kicked out General Musharraf instead and brought back Zardari and Nawaz.

Same here. These people do not understand that some of us were from very well to do families. Sharifs and others are nothing compare to our ancestors. But in Pakistan cookie started to crumble a different way. All the crooks had been elevated to higher positions where they have created havoc. My forefathers, had one of the most fertile land and now some of the most expensive real estate in India. Spreading from North East of Dehli "Ghaziabad" enclave east towards Meerut and north towards "Kernal" and beyond.
But these crooks and liars, who have stole the lands and are nothing but downright hustlers have ruined Pakistan. Unless we control that , we cannot control anything. My Dad was offered huge land in claims by no other than "Liaquat Ali Khan" but refused. We all know how "Liaquat Ali Khan" himself a massive land owner in India died in Pakistan.
It is very shameful. None of my family had any soft corner for India. I have one first cousin in India. He lives in a massive house, what you described as "Haveli", would have love to come to Pakistan. But he wasn't born at the time. lolz

Musharraf should chill in his ancestral nehar wali haveli in delhi india, good for him and good for Pakistan, at least in his biography he can write that he will die in the same place where he was born.

Dr. you are spot on about how Nawaz is protected for decades by the Pakistani establishment. He still is supported. There is undeniable evidence of their support available if one has open eyes. For example Maulana Diesel has publically threatened to release the name of those who had given him assurances. Same goes for the Ch brothers.
When it comes to the butts policies of Kiyani, Raheel and now Bajawa are no different. He is protected by them to the hilt. With him they have taken Shahbaz out of the country too, keeping him as option to become PM if Imran doesn't succeed. Anyone with little foresight can clearly see that. Pakistanis are kept uneducated purposefully so they don't use their brain too much. Otherwise what kind of people would elect the same thieves over and over despite knowing they have looted and destroyed the country!!
It is a cruel joke, nothing else.
