There are some very frustrated people whose egos otherwise wouldn't see beyond their noses. There is a whole world of selfish exist who would see everyone in their own image. But had they ever stood in a jama'ah in Salah they'd be standing next to someone poorer or richer then them someone who speaks a different language or a different complexion. Ummah exists for those who think they are part and parcel with everyone who loves other just for the sake of Allah SWT and nothing else. Now, Pakistani foreign minister says what he must because he understands that India is a big client for GCC and a source of cheap labor. One I might add they want to win over due to recent events in cornering Iran and they wouldn't want India returning to Iran. Well, here is international politics for you... that is besides Pakistan's own political stances in past couple of decades.

Can't understand one thing - why the heck Pak should be mad with the UAE vis-à-vis India????? All the "rich and famous" Indian folks, who make the difference (50 families control 70% of India's wealth), hoard their laundered wealth, mistresses etc. in the UAE!!!!! Shouldn't Pak be happy with it to begin with?!?! Don't they know how it works, especially when the liberation of Kashmir is at the sight?!?!

The Ummah is a potential that can be realised if work is done towards that end. This is for the international political level.

With regards to individual Muslims - I know it exists as a real force. Muslims do feel for other Muslims even if they are far away.

That bond cannot be removed from the consciousness of ordinary believers. It will exist while Islam exists. The question is, can it be harnessed for the benefit of the believers.
Unfortunately, narrow self interest of those in power now and those who will come to power in the future will prevent it's potential from ever being realised unless a Muslim nation rises to become a world superpower and carries the weaker smaller Muslim nations with it.

Regarding hiking and mountaineering etc. This is an environment of extreme fitness mental strength and will power. On my last trip a molvi from sialkot joined us. A big talker and when the actual climb started he lasted 30 minutes. Then there were the tears of what will face book friends say. So regarding you and hiking. No thanks you

And Pakistan never fought for Arabs Pakistan sent pilots to Syria in Isreal arab war but Syrians are not religious sent pilots maybe due to bhuttos personal relation with Assad
Arabs asked for Pakistani troops in 2015 but Pakistan didn't send
And Ummah means more than 50 Muslim countries and Indian Muslims not Saudi Arabia and in those more than 50 countries only one country is under mullahs and that is Iran

Do we not have temples in Pakistan that are being restored? We also have Sikh temples. ...why point fingers at OTHERS?

Iran has fire worshipping temples. ..
Saudi has archaeological digs where temples were so why can't UAE have? They shouldn't accommodate foreigners but we accommodate Indian Sikh worpshippers on our land to come and do their worships?
