Article just made me curious to check prices of Atta in India

You guys are lucky cause we are paying 2.7 times more than what you pay. (1 INR = 2.7 PKR)

Comparing USC prices to BB prices in India is not a like to like comparison. Fairer comparison would be prices at fair price stores such as Kendriya Bhandar that govts operate in India. Atta prices are about Rs. 30/kg there which is about PKR 81/kg. So the actual difference would be about 1.7 times, not 2.7 times. But yeah expensive it is.

Regards

You are right. It varies between 20 to 35 in open market. I just checked the price for BPL card holders varies between 7 to 14 rupees per kg in different states.

Its going to happen worldwide…..not just here……
How many can u kill or keep killing for safety?
Eventually you will run out of ammo and food will go bad
How can u stock up food for a year anyway and keep it safe
I’d rather we be wiped out by a nuke or something rather than fight for food…..
Elites will flee with private jets to switzerland

Wait, Switzerland is not part of the world? Question number 2 are you writing this from your bunker?

I checked my local price, and it is $2.64 for a 5-pound bag. That seems to translate to about 3,000 rupees for 10 Kg at 250 rupees per $. So, even 1,300 rupees is half of what we pay. But of course, this comparison is ridiculous due to purchasing power difference.
