At first i took your "muslims respect flags more than others" statement as a joke but i see you are serious.

The fact remains that in most muslim countries there's allready a tradition of mobs gathering and burning Western flags.Sure,there are random happenings in the West to but as per your own examples most are football hoolingans and are put in the context of long standing enemies |(Romanians -Hungarians,Turks-Greeks),indepence movements (Catlania-Spain),or random butthurt (Greece-austerity imposed by Germans).

Are you trying to tell me that muslims don't gather once in a while in muslim countries and have a good,'ol flag burning ceremony FAR more often than other countries.You just can't compare the two...in muslim countries you alwys see mobs burning flags every other day.I can't believe you're making a comparison.

As for why are Turks burning flags,i don't know,ask them...they're your countrymen,ask them also why from time to time they bully US citizens visiting Turkey and burn Israeli flags,etc,etc.

I like your random examples but just don't compare....burning flags has become a tradition in muslim countries.
