I am a serving Capt in the Arty, am in touch with offrs through whatsapp with offrs deployed there, as some of them are my course mates, no news of causality on our side have been reported there was a possibility but that was mistaken.
Engrs are NOT deployed on LoC or in mortar rg, mining is carried out by Inf Bns as Inf Bns have capability to lay a protective minefield.

And ISAF lost 3532 in Afghanistan? So what's the point? LIC or SCW inherently has higher no of causalities as Identification of friend and foe is almost impossible.
While IA on the other hand lost this huge number while being entrenched in concrete bunkers against easily recognizable enemy.

Over 4,500 soldiers killed along LoC in Pak firing since 2001:

Now tell me you can comprehend the difference, now if we were to include Indian casualties from Red Corridor and all other incidents like Pathankot, Uri etc.....the total number will certainly fill up a few Kolkota streets.

Justice Katju comes to mind since General Musharraf revealed the figures in an interview soon after assuming power but since you people wanted to believe otherwise, there was no need to convince you lot.
It's ironic that you are more concerned about Pakistani casualties in that conflict but never question the post conflict disclosure how PA is still occupying some mountains or how General Musharraf was able to spend a night 15 Km inside Indian territory....but i guess one shouldn't spoil Ostriches old habits.
