Five foreign hostages kidnapped in 2012 in Afghanistan recovered by Pakistan Army

A job well done... may the cowards rot in hell

.
Lets get it straight. These American citizens have been abducted in Afghanistan since 2012, with CIA tracing them ever since, knowing fully their where abouts , they even knew that these people will be shipped across the border into Pakistan on 11th (yesterday), what the fk American forces and CIA been doing all these years? Pussies not having the guts to do operation on their own in Afghanistan to release their citizens? And they want to fight Taliban into submission? America is the occupier of Afghanistan, need to deal with its own shit. Pakistan must seal the border with Afghanistan and no Afghan sh|t crosses into our border. Let them deal with this mess.

These act of "heroism" and "compassion" got no takers in Washington. Stop pretending, and for once be stone cold. The narrative that should have come out of this is what I just mentioned. American is the occupier of Afghansitan, it needs to sort the mess on its own, and if it is not capable doing so, better fk off from this region.

Thd visiting American delegates need to be told this happened because you have a friendly Pakistan who wants to work with you to eliminate terrorism however dont mistake our cooperation for weakness and take us for granted.

. .
Is Pak army now conducting operations in Afghanistan?

Well done ISI. The invisible warriors of Pakistan.

I think so. The leader of one of these terrorist outfits was shot dead outside the NDS office in Afghanistan earlier on this week.

Well Done ISI!

Read the Article first Guys.

"US intelligence agencies had been tracking them and shared their shifting across to Pakistan on Oct 11, 2017, through the Kurram Agency border."

The operation was conducted by the army "based on actionable intelligence from US authorities."

. .
As the statementvreads US ARMY was tracking the family's movement and when crossed into Pakistan on 11 oct information was passed to pak army who recovered the family.(dawn new)
So US ARMY so fucking impotent that they could not recover the family when it was in Afghanistan? Or its just another osama type drama to embrace Pakistan

That is the question nobody is asking. ISPR itself is acting goofy.

This was the time to go on offensive and rub American noses specially their CIA, rather trying to act lovey dovey.

Rather asking yanks as to what the fk they been doing in Afghanistan since 2012 when they knew the location of these people, we are told how this so called "intel cooperation" worked this time.

Utter garbage .

Pakistani soldiers have freed a North American family of five who were being held hostage by the Afghan Taliban.

Canadian Joshua Boyle and his US wife Caitlan Coleman were kidnapped while backpacking in Afghanistan in 2012. They had three children while in captivity.

"The operation by Pakistani forces, based on actionable intelligence from US authorities was successful; all hostages were recovered safe and sound and are being repatriated to the country of their origin," the statement said. "The success underscores the importance of timely intelligence sharing and Pakistan's continued commitment towards fighting this menace through cooperation between two forces against a common enemy."

They were rescued after a US tip-off during an operation near the Afghan border, the Pakistani army said.

US President Donald Trump said it was a "positive moment" for US-Pakistan ties.

"Ms Coleman gave birth to the couple's three children while they were in captivity," Mr Trump said in a White House statement. "Today, they are free."

He added: "The Pakistani government's co-operation is a sign that it is honouring America's wishes for it to do more to provide security in the region."

  • The Pakistani army said US intelligence agencies had been tracking the family in Afghanistan, and reported that on 11 October they had moved across the border into the Kurram tribal district of Pakistan.

In a statement it said: "The success underscores the importance of timely intelligence sharing and Pakistan's continued commitment towards fighting this menace through co-operation between two forces against a common enemy."

Videos of the couple have been released by the Taliban-aligned Haqqani network during their captivity. The insurgent group has been demanding the release of three of its prisoners in Afghanistan.

The latest video, released last December, showed the couple with two young boys. In it, Ms Coleman - who was pregnant when she and Mr Boyle were abducted - begged for an end to what she called their "Kafkaesque nightmare".

The US has accused Pakistan of not doing enough to counter Islamist militants who operate across its porous border with Afghanistan, and relations between Washington and Islamabad had recently been at a low ebb.
