The Iranians consider Soleimani a martyr - the US doesn’t.RIP.
Loss of any life is just useless.
You would have earned a great respect if you would have written :
Please make sure you use the word "Martyred" when creating threads on the deaths of "ANY Soldier", paramilitary, police etc, especially when it involves terrorist attacks.
Soldiers in India, Pakistan or anywhere for that matter serve their motherland. Change of "lens" doesnt change the fact that they all are "Martyrs" for their respective countries.
If it is from Iran then Pakistan must launch Strong protest to IranUnfortunately, the news is true and furthermore that the attack is being carried out by terrorist using neighboring border area.

This is a Pakistani forum, first and foremost, so it will reflect the Pakistani point of view. Additionally, as others have pointed out, the term martyr isn’t necessarily used by all militaries around the world.
No ome is here addressing the elephant in the room. Recent attacks and this jas iran all written over it. Attack on ASWJ and now this, 30 km from border. Iran is giving refuge to indian elements who attack Pakistan.
Give it a rest, Baluch separatists are as much a threat to them as it is to us, in fact the Shah helped us fight a similar insurgency in the 70's.
Its been 5 decades since the shah. Iran is no more shah's iran, its ayatoals iran. Who are sectarian biggots and have expansionist and interventionist intentions. Why would baloch freedom fighters attack an ahle sunnat gathering?? Why is it that baloch in Pakistan are fighting but ones in iran are not? Even though living standard in Pakistan is higher than in iran. What was kulbhushan doing in iran for decades? Imagine how many such operatives work in iran. Uzair baloch and many others have admitted iran helped them against Pakistan. The main reason such groups are still active because iran gives them cover and weapons, funded by india.
If this attack was near Afghan border, everyone would be shouting their lungs n abusing Afghans, but since its iran border, all the hypocrites are silent and trying to divert it away from iran. As long as we dnt address the elephant in the room, we will be played like fools. Time to put aside sectarian affilliations and keep Pakistan as top priority. If sectarian affilliations didn't deter us against TTP and others then it should also not deter us against iran backed terrorism.
And what do you expect Pakistan to do? How many Baloch & TTP terrorist attacks originated from Afghanistan? Its been 5 decades since the shah. Iran is no more shah's iran, its ayatoals iran.
