Well ijma is supported by Hadith. In clear terms.

But the thing is that as per Sunnah of Prophet (SAW) we don't see any example of woman leading prayers. In fact we find hadith which even asks them to say their own prayer at home.

Well, any Hadith that goes against the Qur'an cannot be accepted. The Qur'an, in clear terms, rejects the "majority" argument.

And there actually is at least one such example from the time of Holy Prophet (PBUH) i.e. Umm Waraqa

Quran also supports Ijma. So nope. We don't need to reject any hadith.

As for that Umm Waraqa example. There are dozen others where male were preferred. Even when Holy Prophet (SAW) himself wasn't able to lead for some reason he categorically ask another male to lead. So yup i would go with those dozens of other incidents instead of basing my argument on one random incident.

Please prove that the Holy Qur'an supports the concept of Ijma and I will readily accept your position.

And if there is even one such example of women leading men (besides dozens of examples of men leading women) what does it mean ? It means that women are not forbidden to lead men, but men leading women is preferred.. .. that's how I understand it

You find all you need.

As for one incident. This can also mean that after that incident woman leading prayers was abolished and was never repeated. Hence we don't find any other example of that happening again. How you got the idea it isn't forbidden?

You have weird understanding of Islam by the way. You reject Ijma. You reject Hadeeth. You believe that everything would be in Quran even though that is not possible or logical. You need help if you are not dishonest.

Now You are "Assuming" that it was abolished ... it's just a baseless assumption, ... not even an argument

No, the link you provided does not quote a single Quranic verse that supports the concept of Ijma ... You probably didn't read it yourself before posting it here

I actually have a very simple understanding of Islam, as the Quran itself says it has been made easy to understand. I only reject those concepts which are in contradiction with clear Quranic injunctions

Is she leading a mixed congregation women only congregation?

What's wrong with a woman leading prayers?

If "innovation" is an issue, shouldn't photographs and TV be banned?

You have the freedom to follow any religion and any variant of any religion in this country (barring a few practices).
Most of the country doesn't care what someone else follows. It maybe a good idea to stop threatening to kill each other over this.
Reform has been happening for years- not in the texts but in practice. Few violent/ conservative men still want to stick to old traditions. But their days are numbered.

Bro why is it so ? I dont think god is that small minded ?
Claim peace in the name of god, center your religions around notions of peace and tolerance, declare your love for all of humanity, and kill each other defending these notions. All for a god who can probably take care of himself/herself

Only if Gangadesh survived because both Pakistan and China need some room to expand.

LOL, I feel pity on guy's like you. :p:

When will you guy's behave like a man (even if not one) and talk about yourself. It's rather Pathetic that Pakistan always needed, and is in a constant pursuit for a big, BIG DADDY to counter India. Be it U.S.A (in the past) or China (currently). So please show some self respect at-least for once in your life and dare to speak for yourself. :sarcastic::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

So is Kerala heavily policed?

Policed ??? LOL :)

Do Google a bit if you can and find, Kerala i among one of the few place on globe that has not seen any terror attack or terrorism related bombing incidents yet. We are relatively peaceful people (apart from few political fanatics). The most you may find maybe some politically motivated assault or killings that too using machete or sharp edged objects. Gun's and bombs are not even used by police, let alone criminals. :)

Indians with their opinions are so retarded.

This is how Hindus choose to attack our religion. They want to make innovations in our religion, little by little so that they can implode and change it while these sniveling bastards can drink cow urine and bang their heads against rocks.

Where did the hindus come into this discussion?? Post reported.

Their extremists cannot swallow that their co-religionists wiilingle accepted Islam and sought to make their Land of Hind separate from them...

Is it the pot calling the kettle black?

No , its not policed, its a democracy. There are adequate number of police officers.

well there is a lot of talk about the ISIS chapter in Kerala and thus the greater regional concerns.

Policed ??? LOL :)

ISIS is flourishing in Kerala it seems.

More power to this woman and may her tribe grow. Patriarchal norms must be confronted.
Yes that must start with appointing temple Devadasis as Priests instead of devadasis getting raped by every other priest and becoming mothers to their spawns. That will be fun and will help end temple rape traditions.
