It is not 'if' IAF gets Derby with SPYDER because Derby is integral part of SPYDER system.


Because they are different. If everything is on schedule than IAF should have got SPYDER already. It should have joined IAF in March 2011 while they even not started the testing of SR-SAM. It will take years. The SR-SAM will be more advanced than SPYDER.

Yes... And MAITRI seems to be another one of the deals which are done just for appeasement..
