Coming to BRT. It should not have been inaugurated right before 14-Aug. These Jahileen are 10 folds hyper on such occasions. Secondly, the KP government opened the border for afghans just recently while ANA is organizing cross border attacks as we speak. Terrorists are always on the lookout for special occasions to do the "deed" and cause maximum damage both physically and psychologically. Now what was our government thinking is beyond me.

One (out of many) reason that BRT was delayed is that initially the buses were not able to take turn as some of tye turns were very sharp at 90 angle. So they had to redo all of that work.

More than 50% of PTI voters are Pathan. Also Rigged RTS system in Karachi doesn't count as "Urban votes". Just look at the next-door city Hyderabad: 2 NA seats for MQM 1 for PPP and 0 for PTI. It's not like Urdu-speakers in Karachi and Hyderabad have different mentality. Also Lahoris have largely voted for PMLN.

I know that there were design flaws in the bus flyovers... it was like 90 degree turns which is impossible even for small cars.

The train could’ve been underground. High cost but it’ll last decades longer, hence cost satisfies.
