When I putting my logic, I never take any bias in consideration. I would not like to come out look illogical with my bias. Having said that, I think you are emotional and not thinking logically. In my opinion this is not a threat, this is normal business as usual. What I have heard is Imran government asked to do an risk assessment on what will happen if you do this or that, on that exercise one question was what if Imran Khan goes or stays. As part of exercise a diplomat spoke to another diplomat both at junior level and asked his thoughts. He just expressed what he think will happen. Its normal people talk like this, every country expresses like this to other countries. In this case they just added that if Imran stays he do not see based on how he has acted in last 3.5 year how relationship will improve.

Foreign policies work like this, this is normal day to day work.

Only US foreign policy used to work like this. And that too because of former so called leaders of Pakistan. Otherwise when blinken said only about system of China in Alaska, he was put in its place in front of whole world. If thats how your "logical" diplomacy works, keep doing it. When you look back in the last five years on how US image has been declined in the world. You will get your answer.

You are not familiar with the content. The letter is for the Government in Pakistan and contains meeting notes of conversation between an American official and the Pakistani ambassador in USA. As per the available details, the letter mentions name of Imran Khan 7 times and "No Confidence Vote" some 8 times... and the letter got delivered to the government even before no confidence vote became a reality. Americans knew what's coming in a few days and who's filing what against who.

Second, the letter mentions consequences for the state of Pakistan if Imran Khan is not removed, but assures forgiveness if regime change happens. The letter is actually not directly addressed towards Prime Minister of Pakistan but towards the establishment who could support or oppose such a move covertly.

Third, there are 22 PTI MNAs (Members of lower house) who have been paid up to 250 million PKR. Some voices mentioned how is this money travelling into Pakistan but more details will be available as the traitors are prosecuted.

And lastly, who doesn't know nature of relationship between USA and Pakistan since Afghanistan withdrawal? First USA blamed Pakistan for supporting Talibans then was told "Absolutely Not" for a further military cooperation and then Pakistan deepening ties with China. When you know all that, just question why would USA still resist an urge to change the Government in Pakistan? Estaishment shall be put to its place. There is wide spread resentment in people if you talk with them here or abroad.
In the last week PKR declined, Pakistan don't know how to procure cheap Russian oil due to uncertainty.
If establishment feels comfortable working with Zardari and sharif house , then Pakistan shall ever remain a stunted dwarf like it is today. Some people are totally used to begging bowl and kummi at the global level inuding establishment.
