What's new

Final operational clearance for Tejas again delayed till next year

With German design and 90% import I bet you did!

Again, you need to update your bookmarked source. Most of that is coming from raw material. :That's straight from manager of HAL heli branch. It's another good Indian source for you, bookmark it. Though, I doubt you will cause it doesnt fit your line of thought. .

Designing, testing, certification, etc. was done by India. Where were those JVs developmental designing, testing, certifications done in? China..

All of the learning curve was worth it and has helped it to branch off with these.

im impressed .. Now you produce Brahmos aka Yalhont junior under ToT..

The great irony is, it's basically more than what you do with your JF, etc.

Here is an old chart showing some of those imported "raw materials"..:lol: Those companies providing "raw material" also list these products in their websites;

You must be an idiot for posting this. This is Rudra, are you that defence illiterate to not know Dhruv doesnt have a gun, rockets, etc? And this diagram was made by an old idiot in this forum.

But again, another example of heli program gone right.

Btw, a lot of that "imported" stuff is either license produced in India or have been replaced with Indian equivalents.

yes other countries like US,Pak don't have money or R&D like india..

No, US has the R&D budget , but that 4% or whatever of your $7 billion dollar budget isnt doing shit.

You cant shine a turd

Indias ego driven attempt to continuously shine the Tejas

Will only give them a shiny new turd

:pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:we love you tejas:pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

Our continuous attempt to make Tejas relevant for today's warfare is what causing the delay.

Clown with 90% imported shit ..you should be the last one to talk

The great irony is, it's basically more than what you do with your JF, etc.

Great irony is the indian clown getting owned and posting nonsense instead of solid fact... JF has been discussed to death and you know the truth ..,, but considering your own failed products it's hard for you to accept truth..

JF BLK II arrives ... Gets export orders and you still stuck with LCA the white elephant ... Which will "expected" to fly by 2019..

Child rudra itself is an armed dhruv... Stop acting stupid..,

P.S; Rudra itself probably never made it..:)

Hope your under development heli doesnt end up like LCA or another under powered, inferior (often crashing) 90% import... Which it already is..

Btw, a lot of that "imported" stuff is either license produced in India or have been replaced with Indian equivalents.

Child importing means "buying" from abroad .. And shortages are caused when the imports don't arrive just like what happens in india where fleets are grounded due to lack of imported parts!

No, US has the R&D budget , but that 4% or whatever of your $7 billion dollar budget isnt doing shit.

It surely is when compared with your obsolete army running around in pathetic BPJs and unprotected helmets or tin cans ... Or 1600 blind tanks, obsolete arty, soviet made mi25,1300 cc "Suzukis",no SPGs etc etc...
Or 90% imported "indigenous" weapons most of them to be inducted 26th century..

DRDO should stick with automatic "palkis",chilli bombs and other shit .. HAL should instead be more professional so that already iaf jets don't crash so often due to lack of maintaince or perhaps pilot error... Ex LCA,IJT,indian Assembled hawk (that crashed and burned)...

No wonder your obsolete army with 20 day ammo prefers to import rather than fall for indian made "indigenous" don't work crap.

@DESERT FIGHTER , can you name at least one military machine that you make including engine and all? An army truck perhaps? Can you point us to any papers on JF17 from your scientists? Pics may be of any testing equipment you use for JF17? Where does the raw metal/alloys come for the JF17, which factory?

There is general acceptance, even among Pakistanis that there is a need for a trainer aircraft(jf17) and improvements in FBW, why can't you, atleast make these and take the ownership you claim?

@DESERT FIGHTER , can you name at least one military machine that you make including engine and all? An army truck perhaps?
No we don't produce engines of heavy vehicles (except under ToT -- like Hino Pak JV),Prime Movers etc) but we do have companies like Master (still active - but I believe their engines also use foriegn parts)...Adam (now defunct),Yasoob mil trucks that we produce or produced in the past .. Do you ?? Even your TATA vehicles are using foriegn engines... your SUVs till now use imported parts .. Source your own websites like team bhp etc!

Sure.. Pics,MOD documents, testing facilities etc are posted in JF-17 info pool thread... Now surely I got no time to spoon feed you all that... Nor I can the energy ..so why don't you go and check out the thread...? I'm sure the thread keeper @Antibody. Would help you out!

If you need info on tanks .. Than sure tag me... Il educate you on that.

Let me give you the source straight from HAL Heli manager again, good Indian source for you to book mark.

Can you comment on the value of components of the Dhruv which are imported?

There are a lot of misconceptions regarding indigenisation and imports. There is tremendous value addition that is being done in the Dhruv programme. Structures for the Dhruv are made from composites. Now while the raw material comes from abroad, everything else, from tailoring of the raw material when it comes to design of a component, development of a component, qualification and testing of the component and finally manufacturing of the component, is all done entirely in India. The value addition to the basic raw materials we are getting is anywhere between 45 to 65 per cent. If you look at the percentage of the number of components that are made in this country then 85 to 90 per cent of the Dhruv is made in India.

What are you talking about? Those sub systems for Rudra was defined in development. Once there was an good enough alternative from data pattern, etc. they stopped importing some of the stuff. Public companies also license produces some of those things of outside origin.

Doesnt matter, you used a diagram that shows rudra when base line dhruv doesnt have most of the stuff you posted. Stop most crap made by idiots on a forum.

And PS

It's in production since 2012.

This being the first production model.

Yes your shipyards are actually better than DRDO or HAL ..

As for missile please brag infront of bangladesh not us... You are still struggling to produce an air launched yakhont .. We have had longer ranged ALCMs since almost a decade...same goes for GLCMs etc... Even have SOWs,PGMs,ALATGMs etc.. As for sub launched ballistic missile lol.. Try a Sub Launched Cruise Missile - Babur that will equip our subs.. Cannisterised version also in service... Importing stuff doesn't mean you produce it in india... Did you even read the CAG report???

As for your "rudra" it's a modified dhruv carrying few weapons not a different platform idiot... Our MIs and Hurys are also carrying Zumr EODs (produced by PAC),FLIRs etc... Doesn't mean they are a different variant !

As for it being in mass production... Do you have a pic of one in service with your military??

Are you dumb? Base line Dhruv doesnt FLIR(only some mark 3s), Self protection suite(only mark 3s), a gun(??), rockets(??), etc. it's not an attack helicopter, Rudra is. So how are you going to use that to talk about Dhruvs imports? Doest matter if it's the same platform. And you call me an idiot.

As for it being in mass production... Do you have a pic of one in service with your military??

I've seen several pictures, but cant find it now. That images is the first ground test of the first production Rudra, back in 2012. It's in production.

Yes your shipyards are actually better than DRDO or HAL ..

Umm, DRDO basically designed the sub for it's own SLBMs, L&T just manufactured it.

Um, are you seriously trying to down playing an SLBM?

India has brahmos,

which will arm the next line of subs.

Also Nirbhay blocks, which will see service with all 3 branches.

as I said brag that infront of bangladeshi or Sri Lankans.. Who don't have such things!
India has Brahmos.

Brahmos is a russian missile with indian guidance software upgrade nothing else... And a short ranged weapons owing to MRCR restrictions on Russia which can't export a missile above 300 in range to india...

Also Nirbhay blocks, which will see service with all 3 branches.
come back when you actually have it in service ... We have had ALCMs,SOWs,PGMs,ALATGMs, since years... Meanwhile you are stuck with developing nirbhay cm.

I can draw a line to the sonar and torpedo on this ASW Varient state it's from Germany or Uganda, does it mean regular Dhruvs have sonar equipment or torpedos? Are you going to use that example to show standard Dhruvs imports? It's different variant.

The Ground Run of the first production standard ALH Mk-IV Helicopter was completed on August 11, 2012. With this, yet another milestone has been achieved in the concurrent development of ALH. The first successful run is a result of the combined effort of personnel in the Helicopter Complex, CEMILAC and the DGAQA. The production of ALH Mk-IV was launched a year ago with challenges of integrating new Weapon Systems (Rocket, ATAM & Turret Gun) and related Mission Systems along with the Optimised Transmission System. HAL has orders for 76 ALH Mk-IV to b

You just said India cant get Brahmos to work from planes, all of a sudden when you see it ripping off the water, it's not Indian any more.

Around 6+ SSKs armed with 300km anti ship Brahmos are just fine. India will be churning those out.

How about you read most of the sources. It's in

Irkut to conclude shipment of Su-30MKI kits to India - 2/16/2015 - Flight Global

“Currently HAL is in Phase IV of assembly, which means it is manufacturing parts from the raw material stage with complete transfer of technology from Irkut Corporation,” it says. “The Su-30MKI program is a shining example of India-Russia defence cooperation.”

Irkut adds that HAL has also “mastered” the overhaul of the fighter type, having delivered the first overhauled aircraft to the air force at the end of 2014.

“To master the whole scope of overhaul procedure is a real challenge with the overhaul technology documentation having been developed by HAL specialists,” it says. “We at Irkut supplied the overhaul equipment and assisted in their installation and shared with HAL our experience in such work.”

Also, I've seen the whole fuselage of the JF being transported to Pak.
