Look every soldier who is captured in war faces the prospect of torture and abuse be it male or female. Removing female from the army wont stop the males from getting tortured or abused if captured. Some vocations isnt as physically demanding as infantry but they are involved in the battlefield, such as artillery, combat engineers, signals.etc. And if a women proves herself time and time again, i dont see the problem of her climbing to the rank of a general officer.
