FCI to transport grains within India via Bangladesh for the 1st time

The long road from Sittwe to NE is not only hilly but soon it may also become thorny by the NE rebels. By the way, there is nothing in the news about the price of per ton passage through BD land. I have a personal objection about this. If India thinks it owes money from BD due to 1971 war, BD govt should be prepared to (pay that money - the value of goods IA troops have taken with them).

But, a business is a business. BD should pay the war money and also charge Indian transition through Bangladesh. If India is not willing to pay the fees in cash, it should allow BD-Pakistan trade through its land. Without a reciprocal treaty India will keep on using BD's goodwill in the name of helping it in 1971.

Its about 2.5k kilometers from bangladesh to pakistan...Bill will be hefty if we decide to charge with distance as a factor.

In the short term it would be better to use airways or waterways until some kind of an agreement can be struck.

But there is no rebel group in that region. Modification was accomodated to make it better

Now BD is helping to feed indian mouth in NE, with virtually NO cost. Yet indians including CM from these states are repeating circular bs. That goes to show indian character.

If we are looking for alternate route through Myanmar, it should not make you worried. We can't trust Pakistan so transit to Pakistan is not possible

Bangladeshis DO NOT trust (among other reason) india, therefore, Bangladesh should NOT allow any transit to india. If india can use Myanmar as transit point all the better. indians are acting like parasite on transit issue but running their typical big mouth.

Your country is looking for loans everywhere but fails to get loan but India agreed to give you loan. We know your country needs us. :enjoy:

Now that your worthless rant left to bare, more circular indian BS. Bangladesh did not ask for indian loan. It was india trying to sell shoddy indian product and even bricks and labors under the disguise of loan. What a pathetic bunch. Go latch somewhere as parasite.

But its better than refusal of loans from others.

Say please and be grateful than farting crap of insurgents camp in BD, illegal migrant myth. But then again Indians are miser, chankya ideology, inferiority complex ridden ingrates.

And done deals can be undone as well. :)

I can see that you repeatedly use very much harsh language for a issue that is non issue itself....
Dude...NE is there with India since 65 year...and bussiness is as usual is going on since then...donot be in a fool's paradise that if you stop the transit then heaven will come to ground and NE people will die with hunger....What an idiot you are....If BD has given some passage then definitely India should have paid some money......For a sake of me being a bad boy from Indian side....if India do not say please....then what the heck you will do other than cribbing and begging help to China??...What is the hail you are using the typical word begging always.....If you are smart guy...you should understand that its your politician ...like KBZ and your PM ...is repeatedly running to new delihi to beg to come to power in your nation...Is it not funny??? What kind people you are???

@ BD members...my harsh word is just for only this idiot Luffy only....

Learn to argue in a respectable manner...or else...getting abusive is not a big deal...bot being responsible and resonable is tough in PDF....

You vote a government in power which will NOT TRUST India. Then talk. Both your parties want to work with India. So get over it. else, you form a political party and win the election. Best of luck with that.

Oh, come on!! There is already a thread running in this section whereby your former Ambassador complains about BD complicities in keeping alive the NE rebellion.
