The funniest and incredibly stupid thing that Bajwa did was against Colonel (R) Inam Rahim who is now a lawyer. Col Inam filed a petition in the supreme court to declare Bajwa's extension unconstitutional. Bajwa kidnapped him. A year later, they presented a stance at the Lahore high court that Inam had leaked nuclear codes.
Another story is of a kid named Hassan Askari
At the time of Bajwa's extension, this young kid wrote a letter that he should not be extended. Bajwa has vindictive, petty and low life thug mentality. He kidnapped and tortured the child first later sentenced him to 5 years imprisonment. Hasan is still in Sahiwal Jail.
This kid is the son of a retired major general who had no association with any political or foreign agency. Boy wrote a dissenting letter to the King Bajwa. A normal sane person would have thrown this letter in the dustbin, but Vindictive & thuggish Bajwa used all the state resources to go after this kid to set an example.
He was a jealous and egoistic guy.
He despised those who were more popular than him be it Asif Ghafoor, Asim Bajwa, and Faiz were all famous in public, and he replaced them. At the end of tenure he clashed with IK phr usne auqaat yaad dila di Bajwa ko.
Bajwa went so far as to use a national institution such as ISPR to defend himself against corruption charges.
He ordered DG ISI and ISPR to hold press conference against IK and his party then in his fairwell speech he had audacity to say we are apolitical only after some days of his speech Azam Swati was picked up again.
30 Journalists were killed under his reign there is a report available on google published by UNESCO which has mentioned the name of every journalist killed under his watch.
Not to forget his involvement in foreign policy, economics, land grabbing mafias. He was doing everything but the job for which he was appointed army chief, which is national security.
It was IK's huge mistake to give him an extension but this thug also exposed the whole system, which we would not have known about otherwise.
