^ true, but I am focusing on the hindustani muhajirs, because there is misconception that every muhajir or urduspeaker is MQM, just like not all pashtuns are Taliban, but unfortunately stereotyping is very common from all sides

MQM is a party, and muhajirs are well muhajirs.

Nearly all if not all of these people are presumably born in Pakistan, how can they be "Muhajir's"? How long must we use that term?

This is the tragedy my friend,we are using ethinic/nationality cards to gain political hegemoney.
We are making such attempts by digging the roots of our ancestors,our political leaders are making such attempts in a context to give impression that:'Resident nationals such as Sindhis etc have greater right to rule and form goverment as,they are born here before 1947,while 'muhajirs' have no right to rule,as they 'migrated' and does not belong to Pakistan'
So,for our forefathers are outsiders that is why they have no right to take part and rule the residential nations'
Worse part is,that Muhajirs migrated and later on settled on various parts of country and provinces includin Punjab,Balochistan etc...however,Karachi is the only city in which 'urdu speaking Muhajirs' used the Muhajir card for the first time,and gained sucess,sadly

We need to get out of these clad of Sindhi Balochi punjabi muhajir and pakhtoon. There should be one national identity of Pakistan. Best solution is make new provinces get rid of ethnic provincial names.

For the BOLD part well People think very much rightly because MQM walas play the excuse card for their criminal acts.

Whereas the people you mentioned are Urdu SPEAKING PAKISTANIS

They never considered themselves Mohajir.

Mohajir aka refugees are supposed to go back to their homeland hence if anybody thinks he is a mohajir he should be ready to be shipped back to his own land.

This is new for me that Wasim Akram belongs from India ... But IK's mother belonged from Waziristan .....

There is no such thing as Muhajir they own property in Pakistan they are residents of Pakistan & specially if they pay taxes and utilities and carry a valid Nadra card

The correct terminology is Pakistan's with relatives abroad
