Fake-xodus? Reports dispute BJP's claims on ‘Kairana exodus’ after probe

NDTV is a chronically lying tv channel and a den of charlatans and political pamphleteers, and only fools would trust their word on anything.Recently they lied about authenticity of Kanahiya tape, which have proven to be undoctored by labs.

Journalism is a profession of lairs and charlatans. That being said, it could not be stated with certainty whether "Kairana-exodus" stories are true or not from NEWS reports, as all journalists spins a story based on anecdotal evidence.

Unfortunately, the veracity of this story could only be established in upcoming 2021 census. If it is found that there has been a steep fall in % of Hindus in Kairana between 2011 and 2021, then there was "exodus". Alternatively, a makeshift census in that district could be conducted to ascertain facts on ground. This ideological whøring that goes on in name of NEWS reporting or even administrative reports which are prepared by slavish state officials are not a way to find the truth.

"Out of 118 names submitted by the UP police and the Shamli district administration, who are checking on names in Singh's list, found similar patterns: five dead, 12 still present, 46 moved out since 2011, 55 moved out at least 6-11 years ago, according to The Indian Express report."


101 families left kairana according to media's own report, I don't know why media is trying to gloss over this fact in their desperate attempt to prove the news wrong? And just because 5 persons named in the list are dead doesn't mean their families died along with them. This is nothing but a lame attempt by the media to hide the ugly truth.

BJP MP Hukum Singh, whose allegation of a Hindu exodus from Uttar Pradesh's Kairana area in Shamli district snowballed into a major controversy, today made a U-turn and said the people leaving their homes was not a communal matter.

"The list had both Hindu and Muslim names. This is not a Hindu-Muslim situation... This is not a communal matter," Singh told news agency ANI, attacking the Akhilesh Yadav government for communalising the issue.

Singh said the names of "innocent Muslims" are being dragged into the matter while the names of the "real accused" will never be taken. "There is only terror in this region. There is no law and order," he said.

Last week, the BJP MP had released a list of 346 people forced to migrate from Kairana, a Muslim-majority town in western Uttar Pradesh, because of "threats and extortion by criminal elements belonging to a particular community".

NDTV is reporting it and I would trust their words any day then the hypocrities of the Times Now or the News X.
The reports said that the migration is not due to the religious tensions but because of the increase in crime rates. The criminals that are active there does not belongs to any particular faith but are hindus as well as muslims.
Add to that many families left kairana because of unemployment and it includes both hindu and muslims. Ironically the list provided by the bjp mp has some names in it which have left kairana 15-10 years ago.
