Authentic (not off the shelf) humus actually tastes really nice, same for Falafel. I'm surprise it isn't popular, maybe because of the variety of other foods. That might change soon with our new Syrian citizens

I did eat good humus in 2 middle eastern countries, think one of them had olive oil around it. But didn't like it, it tastes almost like nothing, like baby food.
