Fake ‘Muslim beggar’ phenomena hits UK

Organized crime gangs are believed to be transporting coach loads of Romanians into the country with instructions to work a pre-allocated “pitch”.

Some are understood to have come armed with Google Map print-outs of famous landmarks, which are then taken over by these beggars as favorite haunts for begging.

. . . . . .
This has been going on for years, I've caught some people do it. First time I saw this might have been just over 10 years ago or so in west London, a group of what I'd guess were Eastern European women got out of a car by a busy school as kids were let off for the day, I was sitting in my car which was parked and I noticed them, they got out and put on headscarves and hijab, and then proceeded to beg outside of the school pretending to be Muslims.

These days I see them regularly outside my local mosque, worshippers come to the mosque with small notes and donations they might give to the mosque and outside there is a high footfall in the area, so these beggars target it.

I never realised 'fake Muslim beggars' was even an issue

If you come to my neck of the woods in London, they are an issue, I can show you who they are because they routinely gather near a local mosque every Friday. They also seem to put their kids to work begging too.

It takes people like us who are Muslims to tell that they're fake. This begging predates the refugee crisis massively, basically started shortly after many Eastern European countries joined the EU.

I have seen it in Scandinavian countries and in Germany, as well.
I recon. those gypsies immediately, but i believe its organized by CIA.

. . .
They guilt trip Muslims into giving them cash by sitting outside mosques and saying things like help a Muslim brother. Since Muslims especially those that frequent mosques are usually of a charitable nature, these gypsy gangs have found a stable source of income. They do this all over Europe, not only UK.

I sometimes pray in a Mosque not very far from the location shown in this video... now it puts me in doubt about the similar faced people begging outside the Mosque

I think I donate not because these people claim to be a Muslim, I just donate because I find them poor and needy

They're organised beggars, I see them every week on Friday outside my mosque too. I also recently spotted some new sorts of beggars on trains. First time I gave them money along a journey I take about once a week, then I spotted them again and recognised the same guy pulling the same begging trick along that train journey. They figure it's usually wealthy commuters who travel on that line and so they routinely pull some very elaborate begging displays.

With all the bad things in the world, Why's this guy on a mission against beggars?

If you want to give them money give it, who asks for a certificate from a beggar. If they had been Muslims, what difference does it make?

Everyone knows these are Roma anyway

The point is, average person would naturally assume them as Muslim beggers which gives negative impression of Muslims whereas they are not Muslim but actors from Romania.

The video does serves its purpose however it does not point to the fact that most of these people are needy and nothing wrong to donate some change in your pocket to them
