The whole system in Saudi Arabia is corrupt, arresting anyone for corruption is meaningless.

This is news to me, I hope we are shown some example as well.
I never heard police accept bribe or have any such reputation.
Recently a young Prince was beheaded for his teenage murder. If Royals are that influential, why they failed to bend the arm of a common man to extract a deal!

Man like Talal doesn't get locked up for corruption. Thats how they do the business. There is more to the story of corruption.

Talal had been doing business for ages and very well connected in western financial institutions. What MBS trying to do economically will need western institutions. That is where west will put maximum pressure on MBS to release "their" man Talal. The problem lies in how a person processes info. Some people buy it lock, stock, and barrel. While others actually dissect it, and try to separate the wheat from the chaff.

You just tell me, I heard one of the arrested personality was CEO of Bin Laden group! Could it be linked to accident in Haram?

I am open to correction, but from what I know, the victims of the crane accident have not yet been compensated to date. This is just one issue, there are plenty of others as well.

Everyone who was arrested, yields little or no power in "running the govt." BUT a fat incompetent govt dept in an era of depressed oil prices, (which might last for a good while), is a major liability. They were given enough warnings, before they were removed / action taken.

In an era of social media, and public accountability, the new administration, cannot afford to have incompetent selfish people in their team. They become a major liability, a small hole can sink a big ship.

I personally feel, there are a few more, who need to be shown the door. I'm waiting for cleanup in our neighborhood as well Insha'Allah.

Indian dominate IT industry , cream of the crop and they don't let anyone . Money is there. Don't count labor jobs. Those jobs start vanishing .

Major employer of Indians are Indian contracting companies, they don't hire Pakistanis.
On this subject, I think Saudi authorities should look into such open discrimination.

It depends on Quota allocated by government wrt to each country in different categories..Not indian companies just in general you will find indian more due to different reasons..What you mention is one of the factor but minimal contribution..

What you mention is one of the factor but minimal contribution..

According to my observation, this is major factor.
Indian contracting companies, which obviously are JV with local entrepreneur. They are so many.
They hire hundreds of skilled /unskilled workers for projects on temporary basis.

For someone who has lived in Saudi for 30 Years and knows the local politics really well, these arrest in all honest are anti-corruption purges.

Actually, I predicted the arrest of walid bin talal couple of years ago.
Saad Hariri and his accomplice Abdul Aziz Bin Fahd, laundered millions of dollars to Lebanon to fund political party of Saad Hariri. While 70 thousand of Saudi Oger workers were left to rot on street.
