I find it extremely cringe when some Pakistanis on PDF and Twitter research on Indus Valley Civilization to prove that they are in some way superior to other people in the region. We are better than this. We are the ones who destroyed the caste system in this region, and you bring it up again and again in modern times?
Pakistan is the "Brazil" of the Muslim world because of the mixture of so many people and languages. People in Pakistan come from South India and Bengal to Arabs, Persians and Turkic people of Central Asia.
YOU KNOW WHAT IS COMMON amoung them? That they believe in La ilaha illallah. The moment a man from Tamil Nadu, or Bengal, or Punjab or even some "schedule caste", utters these words, his or her merit increases a trillion times in the eyes of Allah.
It would be much better to engage Indians for their caste systems, animalistic rituals and Shirk rather than reinforcing the fact that Pakistanis are made up of different genes. This should stop. I must reiterate: We are better than this.
You can only admire the achievements of previous nations, but taking pride in them is against Islamic essence, I believe. You don't see Arabs taking pride in their history, do you? All processes of cultural, and religious evolution were "rebooted" the day Gabriel talked to Muhammad (SAW) in the cave of Hira.
For me, the Indus Valley Civilization was nothing more than another great civilization that died while worshipping multiple deities. And they were probably wiped away after a prophet was sent to them.
Stop discussing them, and talk about the things that our prophet (SAW) warned about.
