F-35 myths and facts

those things even the small kids knows these days.. you better tell me how they gonna kill the stealth jet or what if their rocket finish before they reach their target,,,
Awacs will be the first one to be shot down by S400 and others.. even if Awacs are still on, they will not be able to do anything to 5th generation fighters.
Russia got KS-172 air to air missile I think range 400 km or something. Of course, AWACs will be the first to be targeted. Air refuelers too.

You guys all wrong @Kamil_baku @undertakerwwefan :crazy: AWACS has more comprehensive electronic counter measures/Chaff/Flares than any other military aircrafts

And As for how to engage latest BVR like Meteor, PL-15, AAM-5 is equipped with miniature AESA seeker to engage stealth target @Kamil_baku @undertakerwwefan stealth doesn't mean that stealth jets are invisible to all electromagnetic waves but Reduce RCS ( late detection by all senors ) @Kamil_baku @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

The proper procedure to fire a BVR missile is to use a datalink to guide the missile in the initial phase. The Meteor flies in a fuel conserving mode until the terminal phase. If the target starts manouvering at 90 km distance, there is very little angular movement so the missile does not need to compensate more than moving its fins. That does not consume more fuel. Once in the terminal phase, maybe 10km away, the missile should be able to get a lock on the stealth aircraft and have plenty of fuel left for a kill.
The trick is to get the early lock at a distance, but this is possible with a networked mesh of inexpensive sensors. It is more difficult to deploy such a network when attacking.
Even a fourth generation fighter can defeat a stealth fighter this way, but noone has deployed the mesh network right now.

Seems like you forget that BVR missiles work with their radar and if the 5th generation fighter is stealth, how it is going to find the opposite jet 100km away? Who cares what is the speed and maneuver of it if it cannot see anything in front of it...?

Ok, i really expected a better response from you, as seems like you dont know how jets ran away from those BVR missiles..
If any 4th generation fighter fire another 4th generation fighter jet with BVR, the targeted jet basically use S maneuvers, which if the jet turns left, the missiles itself calculating the meeting point, will turn more. But, when the jets use this tactic, the missile burn most of its roket and cannot actually get to the target.
On the other hand, lets say your BVR has 100km range and mine has 90. if we both fire to each other from 90km away, we will fly back, basically, if im speedy enough, your BVR missile have meet me 130km away which will be impossible..
in addition, there are EW and other systems to confuse the BVR missile which use its own radar.. They even use hard object going from wing of jet 30 meters behind the jet to have the same RCS of the jet and be shot down by BVR missiles, in reality, it survives the missiles..
Where from you get the idea of 100 km? Lets suppose F-35 detects F-22 from 40 km and F-22 detects F-35 from 30 km. They move towards each other at 700 km/h. That means F-35 will have some 25 seconds advantage. Thats enough to make a turn and attack the F-22 from side. He won't even know what happened to him and where it come from.

30 km is not a BVR missiles, it is WVR missile... without knowing the stealth character of f22. how can you make these stories is another thing..

Almost all air to air engagements occur within 10 to 20 km. Beyond that BVR missiles have very deteriorated accuracy.

You can see a jet from 30 km? You must be a superman :).

Source??? @undertakerwwefan o_O you crap head than why they weren't use sidewander instead of AMRAAM for within visual keep blabbring/B@rking without a clue @undertakerwwefan :blah::blah::blah:

Radio waves take time to fly. The longer the distance, the longer it takes. The longer it takes, the longer it takes between the missile's computer is updated about the location of the target. The less accurate.

What the fcuk @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::crazy::crazy: do you know what is speed of radio waves have 300,000 km/s it takes milliseconds to reflect from the target and get back to the receiver and do research before you b@rk here without a base you twit head @undertakerwwefan :mad::angry:

You know how far a plane flies in milliseconds? A missile cannot miss by more than a meter or else it misses the plane.

With this post, I recommend you stop participating in this thread. You just crossed the line into the inane.
