F16IN is a great war plane HAD IAF being buying this 10 years ago

IN 2014 wen it arrives as MMRCA it really will be an old airframe

Typhoon Rafael & F18super Hornet will all see far greater future investment in their profiles and will remain frontline with their respective air forces of origin.

Finally there is a article in indian defense section talking about the NEW C130J having been stripped of very hitech equipment because india refused to sign a EUA..

The Americans will soon realise dealing with indians is not the same as dealing with their other client states. They will lose out to Rafael or Typhoon on EUA and indians lack of trust.

When will this be ready???? Thrity Years have been passed, still no news It is almost of the same age of F-16 but still it is not been able to serve any country!

BTW this looks like an unbalanced Rabbit to me!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to hurt you but this is an ugly plane!

The engineers who built it would know better than you any day, genius. We're not holding a beauty contest like NATO. Tejas is meant for a grim purpose and that's destruction of an enemy in a war or counter-terror operation (air to ground strike). When it has passed all the structural, aerodynamics and other tests with flying colors, I don't think glam matters much. IAF seems pleased with it barring a few issues that MK.2 solves. That's all we care.

Face it dude, this is going to do the role of what F-16s were to USA, for us. I don't even know why LM was sent an RFI by India. Maybe just to see what's the package they have. US fans (some dear fellow Indian members here) here, sorry but MRCA goes European way.

When you have an expert of an legendary plane F-16 in your neighborhood then it is obvious that india will not dare to think of inducting it!!!!!!! Simple Logic!
