I think the cats still got the touch, i mean it wont harm to have, i don't know, 5-10 of these.It does exceed the JF-17 in certain aspects.


But then the important aspect of maintainance comes into play.I mean we cant neglect that these birds are decades old and will be used.In short we will have another wave of crashes just like the F7s,they are just not fit for flying.

me too i know abut tomcats much much and they are rusted out dated as ft-5 or star fighter dude. what make sense to induct a new platform which is already out of service and no future for bird.

f14 had its time but its surely over..........i think pak should better spend their money modernizing their in house jf17 to an even more potent beast and go for j10 for main strike purposes atleast j10 comes without sanctions

America will never sell these planes to anyone... I read somewhere, probably on wikipedia... Because Iran also have F-14s, and if even America sells F-14 to anyone... they will most probably end up being sold to Iran as full aircrafts or atleast its spare parts...

What's the point of having such an old aircraft and also one that was maintenance heavy?

look think logicol dose india have f-16- .no so theres no prob there even if it had pak piolts are way better so 2 say (inshallah) the wepons the f-14 has most planes wont even no what hit them and also same power plant as the f-16 same role as the f-16 but BETTER RANGE than the f-16 and the j-10 f-16 aint new its also old but kept updated f-14 D is as good if not better than f-16 dont take my word for it check it out

I think these old horses have no place in PAFs plans. They should go for J-10s and JF-17s and its future blocks. We should be happy with F-16s blk 52 and MLUs.
