4. Did the Rangers use coercion or force to make the IG register an FIR? What constitutes 'force' or 'coercion'?

I still don’t get how Rangers can force an IG of Sindh! I mean try to understand what and how it is even possible. It sounds like the same mountain out of mole hill like Indian media made about civil war in Karachi.
I mean what the Rangers could have done if IG refused? Shoot him, drag him on streets - answer is nothing. Is the IG sindh saying that he feared for his life? really ? They cannot touch and force an IG of Sindh, just like they couldn’t do anything to Sindh police for the thousands of killings that happened under PPP and Sindh police watch in the last decade. If it was a common citizen like me - yes it is possible that Rangers could harm me, but a state official like IG Sindh - come on now.

The real issue like always is - why our police is not free from political interference and follows the laws and constitution? That issue is always deflected and buried by making noise for other issues. As in this case, an alleged interference of Rangers (which have law enforcement mandate as per Sindh govt request) causes a huge crisis in media, but the clear political interference of Bilawal and refusal of Police to document an FIR AS PER THE LAW, is willingly ignored and buried by whataboutissm. Had the police of the provinces been independent institutions and were allowed to work as per the law professionally, even this alleged issues wouldn’t have arisen.

The question now is that if the PMLN & PPP were lying about all these things related to the arrest, how do we know that the IG was actually 'kidnapped'?

Would the IG residence or neighboring residences not have CCTV footage to confirm the 'kidnapping' account?

Did no one capture anything related to the 'kidnaping by Rangers' on cell phones? IG's guards etc? That position involves a lot of security given the risk from terrorists & criminals.

Mere statements from individuals is not going to be sufficient given how politically compromised the Sindh police is.

Moreover, if the IG was previously reprimanded by Supreme Court of Pakistan for facilitating OMNI group.. his political affiliation is quite clear.. How can a person who was reprimanded by the highest court of the country become an IG of a province?
