Just a question, why are countries buying from Pakistan? It is a joint venture between China/Pakistan.

Does Pakistan has the right to sell only? Also, most of our JF17 are/were constructed in China. So China will sell us planes to sell Nigeria?

Right to sell is with Pakistan. China profits from the components it makes for JF 17. Profit from sales goes to Pakistan. That's the deal.

Pakistan has 58% share in Jf-17,
jf-17 is originally made for pakistan and byPAC with chinese help.

Well it's joint venture so if any country would make deal with Pakistan so it's production will be held in Pakistan.and other avionics and electronic equipments will be fitted in pak.which are being made in pak so all of these profit pak will get.Engine will be bought from Russia as usual...

one major problem with the current design is fuel capacity. If they actually came out with dual seater, the fuel capacity would decrease even further and the aircraft would gain weight, which it can't afford because of unavailability of a powerful engine.

a better version of rd-93 with upto 10% increase thrust can make for any weight gain for dual seats, problem is PAF doesnt want to invest any money into it (even if it has any money!)..unless CAC comes up with full share of money..but will the sales be enough to make up for the investment in dual seat? ..as PAF sales doesnt need it

It will be a good bargain for Nigerians. They are already have the Chinese F-7 fighter jets that are still in production for developing countries. The JF-17 could add teeth to the Nigerian Air Force. Plus, it is a cost effective platform that is easy to learn and adapt to.
