The problem is the Taiwan media keep telling the dam will collapse for about two decades, whenever the rain season is about to come, they chant things like this, so don't keep your hope high.

Actually if anything, this year the flood is much better controlled so far, so instead of worrying China, just worrying about your own typhoon season about to come now, I heard the typhon about to come to you this time is one of the bestest ever in decades.

Btw, the three gorges dam is a gravity dam, it hold the water with sheer gravity, not by structure force, it can withhold with even nuclear strike by design, so it wont collapse, good luck and have a nice dream.

India construction standard is no1 around the world.

India used to say same about Mangla and Tarbela Dam but its been 4-5 decades so take it with a pinch of salt. I have read thousands of similar assesments about upraising of both dams by some wannabe scientist who probably never seen structural and engineering drawing of the Dam themselves. So many Dams become controversial by these dumb morons.
