While it may have taken longer but the planning .....is visible what it means to have a ground based dedicated lanes and clean transition of traffic vs elevated tracks. It will mean Peshawar has a unique BRT system in Pakistan

It looks absolutely beautiful once the roads will be painted and fresh new bus stations will be commissioned it would be a top draw

I personally do not find the elevated tracks an ideal choice but since that design has been used it is what it is

I like the approach to keep traffic on the ground

Someone who has run even a hundred thousand project would know if the overrun is due to poor planning or scope change

Nice. I like metro projects.
A few queries -
Is it early morning as the roads seem less crowded as compared to Indian roads.?
Is the route catering to crowded areas or ease of Erection was preffered ?
Lastly why not go for a tram system on the elevated tracks. Its a one time Erection and pollution in city is reduced with no diesel guzzlers , unless you are using gas powered buses ?

If it is fully feasible and not to be subsidised and no corruption. Pakistanis have no issues as the project have to stand on its own to bear all expenditures on its own.
The issue will be there when it will be subsidised like Lahore, Multan and RWP/ISB projects. Why taxpayers money goes down the drain because the projects were not feasible and just implemented for the sake of corruption and nameplates for inaugural purpose.
PMLN / PPP / PTI all should be brought to justice for any white elephant projects.
No to corruption and no to NRO for any taxpayers money muncher.

Yes, I know how respectful a subsidised project is? Such respectful projects pushed our economy in a dire situation, where we are today - after 70 years. Why a taxpayers money goes to such non-profitable projects. Such non-profitable projects should be barred by law - which so called 'Muqaddas' parliament never able to do due their vested corrupt interests and wrong doings.
