If you are capable then you can still compete with their capability within the pay scale. I have worked with IT professionals from different countries in my 25 years of carrier in North America, the most capable by far are Russian IT professional..dont even ask me about Indian capability.

I've worked in IT for the last 8 years and indians aren't even in top bracket, other then outsourcing basic jobs to them. South Korean are head and shoulders the most capable IT professionals i have come across.

Indian IT companies have figured out a way and that is to setup offices in developed countries, hire Locals to innovate and hire cheap Indian IT professionals as code coolies.

Lol. Most of the Indian residents go as a student before getting jobs. Even the new H1B changes dont affect the Indian students studying in US.

Its just Canadian Express Entry system a cause of concern. The system has got so low than even unqualified persons can come in with a PR, which is absolute BS.

HAHAHAHAHAHA . Seriously, tell that to Microsoft and Facebook who STILL want H1B quotas to be increased to hire more Indians. They don't care if we are nationalists or anti-nationalists, all they care is the price point at which they can get their work done.

Pffffft! Ever worked for Microsoft, Intel, Amazon, Oracle, Facebook, Google or Paypal? Open up any team and you will find Indian or People of Indian origin from top to bottom everywhere.

Heck even CEO of Google and Microsoft are people of Indian origin. Ever heard of S-Team of Amazon? Just few days back an Indian made into that...

Oh and good luck finding sizable south korean representation in these companies who are basically movers and shakers of IT/Software. Not that South Koreans are any way inferior --they are really great for the record. Their numbers is much lesser compared to Indians in general and within IT in particular. Had it been electronics or mechanical engineering I might have agreed.

Can someone clarify, If countries imposing Visa restriction such as Singapore or USA is only for Indians? I mean to say if today a Chineese or Pakistani applies for Singapore/USA visa will they get it just like that?

As far as I know, and as per articles no where it's mentioned that this restrictions are only for Indians, so why this thread is specifically opened to rant against India?

Actually it has lot less to do with being 'best' and more to do with those who can afford and education in the USA. A number of Indians settled in USA are those who came there as a student.

Remember these folks do not go on any scholarship but to pursue a degree. BTW, 1 in million is a gross understatement. 1 in million will only give 1200 per year. Had that been the case really not a single peep would have been heard in US about Indians taking all their jobs.

These Chinese and Singapore universities decorated with flowers and waterfall really thought to compete with IITs and IIMs??? LOL, ask your 4th year engineering student to crack IIT entrance test and most will fail spectacularly.

They can't make it to US these days because DV lottery is banned for India for decades. Turning them minority among Indians in US.
