Russians wrote the book on modern conventional warfare and perfected the art during the latter half of WWII.

I wouldn't count the Russians out just yet. They will go back regroup, re-equip and update their tactics and strategy for future conflict(s).

Hitler's 3 army groups North, South and Center, each comprising of several armies of their own ran through Russian defenses until they finally ran into Russian resilience and ability to take on massive amount of damage and still back at their adversaries.

Russians may have gotten a bloody nose, but they still achieved their strategic objectives of liberating/annexing the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine and keeping her out of NATO.

Btw, all the losses that Russia tolerated while retreating from northern Ukraine was because of preventing civilian losses. Ukrainian losers were hiding amongst civilians using them as a human shield when Russian forces began to retreat. First and most importnant issue in retreating from an area is to bombing every inch of that area in order to avoid getting ambushed but as we know the RUssian columns were all located in civilian areas.

That's the difference between humans and animals. Kudos to RUssians for preventing major civilian casualties.

You can leave these losers to kill one an other. At least we people of middle east blame governments of our respective countries and never asked for destruction of other middle eastern nations. Not really. Industries will adjust eventually. Cheap Gas dont make a country rich. If thats the case then iran or saudis will have bmw audi etc not germans. Energy is just one part. Main is human capital and innovation which europe has plentiful.
