the journalist lead on a question of euphoria sounds more Pakistani than Indian and asked Palash da's opinion... he pretty much was being polite.
People should check out euphoria's website, not sure if they still have it but it documented thier Hard rock and metal days, and few years before Dhoom Pichuck, Palash and Debjyoti making the transition into Indian folk rock with Hindi the final nail in their english cover days. Dhoom came from simple midnight rant from palsh on a Asus2, C, D chords which was then worked the next day to by djb to make what it is today... and the rest is history.
Although they are not a great band in the real sense of talent, but they have had their own niche fusion of 8 beat, with kaharba like traditional rythms.
To me Pakistani bands are distincly different from what Euphoria, does... and when Euphoria does tries to do a Noorie or a Strings, it doesn't turn out well.
