Your criticizing the ottomans for those things but they happen in your country all of the time. Going by your logic your government is oppressive so you should stop supporting it.

plus majority of the people didn't rebel against the government... it is war against international terrorism... erdogan using Syria's war hoping he can return the sultan status...

Okay killing the family members was definitely bad, I think everyone on earth can agree with that. Also you get good deeds for freeing slaves so personally thats what I would do instead of enslaving.
