Erdogan: Turkey will not recognise Al-Sisi if elected president

Of course! Given the high number of Iranian women willing to sell their bodies!

Not just in Dubai but elsewhere. Think of it like an exclusive mark

I read that article you posted. It stated that it was uncertain if there was a presence of Iranian prostitutes in Dubai. Also if you google Iran prostitutes Dubai, that is really the only article that comes up, which has an inconclusive outcome. Not to mention the fact that you had to post a video about Dubai prostitution in general which didn't even mention Iran once.

I could start trolling and posting all kinds of Saudi prostitutes, gays and transexuals, but I see no point. You seem to take pleasure in these kind of things, not to mention gloating about dead Iranians. Shouldn't blame you, I guess your mother should have raised you better.

Your fellow countryman started it all. We don't wanna reach to this level of immaturity but who left no choice.

Post the source please. I would like to verify the credibility of this news.

If this is true then Mr. Erdogan can go pound salt as much as his energy allows him to. As if Egypt going to take his words into consideration anyway.

who gave AKP the right to recognize others' leaders? Egypt doesn't not care what erDOGan says, just like Syrians don't care what erDOGan says... who is he or who gave him the right to choose the leaders of other nations?
It's not as straight forward as you make it out to be. First, Turkey has the right to pick and choose with whom they'll have a relationship with and whom they reject. Second, Turkey has a lot of influence in the region and the world, don't for one second think that Erdogan's words are meaningless, because it will affect Egypt's global image. Third, as a Pakistani, I can tell you that "choosing" to elect a military leader is not a real choice.

Good, stick to your principles, otherwise, you're nothing more than a hypocrite.

No you seem to always reach this level and even much lower. Also I believe @SALMAN AL-FARSI is half Iranian and half Arab and was born outside of Iran.

I didn't bring it all till he did. Sorry it isn't my problem.

He claimed that an X or Y people are slaves, and I gave him the most-fitting answer.

It's ok, I understand your "fitting answers". Some people have no manners and know that they can't get away with saying stuff in real life, otherwise their teeth will get turned to powder. :) But the anonymity of the internet provides a good cover for these deranged cowards. Anyway I said all that I had to say, no need to post further off-topics in this thread.

then all they(AKP) can do is go to war with Egypt and change the leadership ?? how about that? AKP is trying to police the Middle East which they have no right at all... we are already tired of western interference and now AKP is making it worse...

so tell me this... Sisi becomes president then what is the next step for Turkey? go to war with Egypt?????.. therefore erDOGan words are meaningless.. he can't do anything about it, AKP must wake up and mind its own business, it is causing chaos in region... and chaos is contagious

This isn't his first time anyway.

He is just a president, a politicial advisor, a condemnator and follows humanitarian matters. To add Syria, Somalia, Gaza, Rohingwa, Uigyurs, China, Israel, PKK, Bangladesh and other nations including his critic and humanitarian support.

Nothing wrong here, this is normal for regional/world powers.

Guess what? Sisi is going to deepen Western influence in Egypt. Nothing is going to change. There is already rumor that Sisi wants to help crush the Palestinians in Gaza to appease the US and Israel. It may be false, but when you start accusing the Palestinians of causing terrorism in Egypt, and then tighten the border, people can't help but feel that the rumors are true.

Turkey isn't saying that it will go to war with Egypt, or say Egypt doesn't have the right to choose Sisi, but it DOES have the right to no have a relationship with Egypt based on Egypt's leadership.

Erdogan's words carry major influence. If Turkey boycott's Egypt, then chances are that there will be other nations that take similar steps.

You are asking for source when ambassadors were expelled, showed strong critic againt the coup, called him no difference than Bashar and yet you are asking for a source?

Erdogan: Turkey will not recognise Al-Sisi if elected president

This site reported Al-Jazeera however, I went through Al jazeera website but still can't find the news.

Not that I don't expect it from Erdogan but just wondering why isn't he de-escalating the tension instead of taking it further.

Turkey needs to understand that Egypt is a sovereign country and the people of Egypt are the only one who decide which one to be appointed. Whether Turkey opposes or agrees to isn't going to change anything. :coffee:

Turkey will not recognise Egypt's Field Marshal Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi who orchestrated the military coup or any other person if elected as president of Egypt, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Erdogan told Al-Jazeera English that he cannot accept or recognise a regime which came through a military coup, adding that he doubts the Egyptian presidential elections would be fair.

"Turkey has witnessed many coups and their perpetrators received high votes. A similar thing could occur in Egypt.

"Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi won the presidency with 52 per cent of the votes. Only the Egyptian people have the right to dismiss him by democratic means and not with a military coup. This is my position on any coup against democracy and every democratic leader should take the same stance," he explained.

Erdogan said the people of both Turkey and Egypt are brothers and the Egyptian people do not deserve such a fate.

Egyptian-Turkish relations deteriorated after the Egyptian army ousted elected President Mohamed Morsi on July 3 of last year because of Turkey's rejection of the coup. The Egyptian military backed government withdrew its ambassador from Ankara in November and reduced diplomatic representation with Turkey, Turkey did not match their response.
