Erdogan says referendum for death penalty is possible

The 2007 Ankara bombing was carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Hawks, not the PKK.

The 2008 Istanbul bombings were denied by the PKK leadership. They didn't take credit for the attack and claimed no responsibility for it.

The 2016 attacks you listed were also carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Hawks.

The fact is, the PKK these days only focuses its attacks on security personnel / combatants. It no longer targets civilians. This has been the policy of the PKK leadership in recent years, which is exactly why the Kurdistan Freedom Hawks came to existence in the first place.
Just because pkk didnt take responsibility doesnt mean they didnt do it and what about the rest in the first place? You cant just cherry pick stuff and deny the rest, its not a fact that pkk is only attacking security organizations, they do also attack civilians, this is a fact.

The whole topic got derailed, it all started because you accused me with lying while i didnt lie, pkk tak or whatever are terrorist organisations what i said was that you dont call them terrorist while they are but now your proving what i said in the beginning and the best part is you have the audacity to ask for an apology for telling the truth.

You are just angry that you got exposed, you have a selective understanding for terrorism, for culprits and innocent, a hypocrite thats what you are.

No, I didn't get "exposed". You're a liar and you're the one who derailed this thread.

You lied about me condoning attacks on civilians. I've never done such thing in my entire life.

You deliberately tried to tarnish my image by resorting to false accusations.

Ironically, you prove exactly why Turkey shouldn't reintroduce the death penalty. It'll be very easy for your government to change definitions and make false accusations against innocent people in order to get rid of them. You clearly do not value accountability and scrutiny. I hope for your country's sake that the majority of Turks value these things.

Precisely.

Terminology-wise, a terrorist attack is an attack on non-combatants.

When soldiers and other combatants get killed, it's not terrorism, regardless of who the perpetrator is.

Xenon54 is hellbent on tarnishing my image by making it appear as though I condone attacks on civilians, which I've never done.

Why the hell should I condone attacks on civilians? My own country and people have been victims of terrorist attacks.

I just don't like intellectual dishonesty. I don't like it when someone claims that an attack on soldiers is a terrorist act. No it bloody isn't.

Are you serious or are you playing stupid?

9/11 was not carried out by Al qaeda it was carried out by al maeda, al qaeda is not terrorists.

PKK has 295894 names. They make a new one everyday. Tomorow so if ISIS change their names then they are not terrorists. Your a joke.

.
You lied about me condoning attacks on civilians. I've never done such thing in my entire life.
For the last time i never said you are condoning attacks, i said you cant call those who do terrorist attacks as such, girl you have indeed a thick skull.

You deliberately tried to tarnish my image by resorting to false accusations.
Again you have written wall of texts confirming what i said.

Thats another topic which i didnt even express my opinion in this thread yet but i did it earlier and said that im against it.

And here a very recent pkk attack not even a moth ago which killed a child, thats your so called insurgents, killing children.

Even from a source that will be obviously more satisfactory for you.

On Friday, Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) declared responsibility for the last week blast in the Kurdish province of Sanliurfa in southern Turkey that killed two civilians, including a 10-year-old child.

A press release on the website of PKK's armed wing People's Defence Forces (HPG) said the attack was "retaliatory" in response to the "murder by the Turkish state of three resistance fighters" in the town of Viransehir, near the border with Syrian Kurdistan.

PKK claims Sanliurfa attack that killed two civilians

Is this not terrorism or was the child also a soldier?

If ISIS change their policy tomorrow and decide to refrain from attacking civilians, then in the future they won't be considered as terrorists anymore.

Terrorism, by definition, only applies to attacks on civilians.

The TAK do not take orders from the PKK. It's as simple as that.

pkk itself is also attacking civilians deny it as much as you want the evidences are there and thats the reason they are still in terror list of many countries.

Why don't you read the actual article though? It clearly states that the PKK's intention was to target the police.

They no longer intentionally target civilians.

You listed a number of terrorist acts on the previous page, none of which were carried out by the PKK. The terrorist attacks in 2016 were all carried out by the TAK. The one in 2007 was also carried out by the TAK, and the Istanbul attack in 2008 was denied by the PKK's leadership.

It's very clear that the PKK is restraining itself and avoiding civilian casualties as best it could, otherwise it would've killed hundreds of innocent civilians since the recent war broke out in July 2015.

So fucking what? They killied civilians does it matter what they wanted? They deliberately took the risk of civilian casualties does it make them less of terrorists?
When you drive reckless and kill someone you will get jailed doesnt matter if you wanted to kill someone or not.

Thats not all the things that i have posted in the first place and whether they try to avoid civilian casualties or not fact is they do kill them and that makes them a terrorist, and i dont even believe that they try to avoid it because of humanity but simply to get sympathy of people like you, otherwise they dont care a single bit about civilians.

Besides what the point of their armed struggle? They said because Kurds get oppressed fine but thats a thing of past and Kurds have all their rights in todays Turkey what is the point or more killing?

But respect i have never seen someone defending terrorists as much as you.

They're not terrorists.

The Algerians who fought the French soldiers weren't terrorists.

Omar Mukhtar of Libya, who fought against the Italians, wasn't a terrorist.

The Palestinians who fight the Israeli army aren't terrorists.

The Chechens who fight the Russian army aren't terrorists.

Likewise, the PKK aren't terrorists.

Terrorists deliberately target civilians / non-combatants.

I don't like it when people try to change definitions of words.

Today, Turkish politicians are publicly labeling insurgents as terrorists, and the majority of Turks might be okay with that. But tomorrow, these same politicians will gradually extend the definition of terrorism to include political opponents, dissidents, journalists, etc. And before you know it, your country will end up like Saudi Arabia, where atheists are considered terrorists as well.

Well, good luck with that. I'm personally going to stick to the real definition of terrorism.

They kill civilians so they are, thats the definition of terrorism, you cant just bend realities as it fits you best.

But let me get this straight, you demand apology because i said something that you indeed do, and then started calling me liar, wow.

So when the Turkish army accidentally kills civilians, is it also terrorism?

Again, you're being intellectually dishonest.

Terrorism depends on your intended target, unless you're trying to suggest that the PKK wants to kill its own Kurdish brethren, which is a ludicrous assertion.

I demanded an apology because you made the grotesque implication that I was somehow condoning attacks on civilians when in fact I've never done that. In fact, I don't even condone the needless violence between the PKK militants and the Turkish military for that matter, let alone attacks on innocent civilians.

Just because I disagree with you over the definition of terrorism does not mean I condone any attack on civilians, deliberate or otherwise.

First i was saying it now implying it, you still refuse to understand a simple sentece which has been explained to you a couple times, what i wrote is the simple truth about you as everyone can see.
Theres nothing to apologize to a terrorist defender you actually dont even deserve my time let alone a apology.

. .
The PKK is classified as a terrorist organization by several countries

What is current status in this regard? Hope to hear a short and precise answer... just saying, for information and knowledge.
