The head of the lamb (like everything in the animal including the intestines) is really a tasty meat no matter how bad it looks to many people. I am not really a fan of the brain but the tongue is my favorite. I have never eaten a head like that but the soup from it is one of my favorite.

I remember my aunt serving a lambs head after is children were told to leave the room. Yet I just read how it is custom for the Jews to eat a kosher animals head at Roshashana to remember the head of the year.

Actually my Moroccan grandmother tells me of the things she used to eat...ugh.

When the locusts came they all rushed out with big nets to catch them and fry them up.

I never eaten locust. But, as far as I know, locust eating is hallal. Is that kosher also?
