Regrettably, to date I have not had the opportunity to go either go to the Eastern part of China or met any Uyghurs, hence I do not know their comments. Nevertheless, from what I heard in the news, the treatment of Uyghurs by the Chinese authorities is totally wrong and not worthy of an emerging superpower. You would not find me justifying a "Wrong" for the sake of being nice. If the topic under discussion here was "Uyghur" my answer would still be the same.
The majority of non-Arab Sunni Muslims have held Turkey & the Turks in high regard and have admired their bravery for the last the 500 years (I have excluded Arabs because they sided with the English against the Ottomans). It, therefore, pains me to see Erdogan invading Syria using similar arguments that Isreal has used for invading Lebanon and bombing Syria many times.
Being a Turk I can understand why you need to defend Erdogan's aggressive actions. Let us agree to disagree.
