Hmm im not sure, Turkey and Iran are sitting in two opposite camps and almost disagree on everything regarding ME, some Iranian officials even demanded to cancel of Erdogans visit after he promised to support KSA logistically in Yemen, but if we believe the diplomatic language everything is fine. Welcome to ME.
There is definately a huge potential for improvement in economic and trade between Turkey and Iran and also between Turkey and KSA but this is ME you can never predict what will happen tomorrow, Greece became the most realiable neighbor for Turkey regarding building a Pipeline, that alone says enough.
O man, seriously about Turkey and Greece? Well, can we say, welcome back to the Empire? LOL!
Diplomatic skill is important to succeed in the Middle East, and a pragmatic policy to not involve in petty communal disputes. Turkey has done a great job in rising above the Frey. Seriously, in regards to Erdogan, the man is a diplomatic wiz , the way he has maintained a relationship between Iran, Russia, KSA, Egypt, Israel, the US, EU -- and doing its part in providing home to some 3.5 million refugees from Syria and Iraq. Talk about resource and logistical control, dude. But with Erdogan in power I have no doubts Turkey will continue to become the dominant power there. There is a strong potential for a Turkish-Iranian-Pakistan power group. I see this potential, a stabilizing factor. And btw, I don't believe in Shia-Sunni hatred, there was none during the Ottoman Empire's 500 years of existence. This current sectarian issue is a result of political differences that has been long drawn out.
