Many of them had to buy COVID medicine from the illegal market. Yeah, buy medicine when it should been free. Yet many of them died even after taking so much trouble. Many such families have become indebted. Turns out about that up to 4.9 million Indians may have died of COVID by mid-2021. And what figure did the government give ?

And all these dead people and these indebted people were / are "hard workers". Their "hard working" ancestors left nothing but middle class and other class poverty for the descendants.

So did a lot of countries in the world. Countries in Europe who are known for their healthcare systems couldn't manage covid. They found themselves letting people die with comorbidities or old ages to save the younger healthy ones. It was a f'ing nightmare. But people like you want India to ace healthcare in a year. That's simply unreasonable. You and your parents got vaccines faster than most of the developing world for free. It was available to you at the nearest Primary health centre.
