The state education minister falsely claimed that "It has been proved by a NASA study that Ram Setu was a man-made bridge built millions of years ago."
Engineering Students in Madhya Pradesh Will Now Learn About the Ram Setu

New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to revise its curriculum for undergraduate students and students of engineering in the state to include mythical Indian texts.

Engineering students will be taught about the Ram Setu – the shallow water coral formation in the Bay of Bengal, off the coast of Rameswaram. Many on the right-wing have been arguing that this was actually the bridge built by Lord Ram in the Ramayana, when he was trying to make his way to Lanka.

The Ramcharitmanas by Tulsidas will be the subject of a new BA elective course, NDTV reported. Topics covered will include “Spirituality and religion in root sources of Indian culture”, “Four ages in Vedas, Upanishads and Purans”, “Difference between Ramayana and Shri Ramcharitmans” and “Incarnation of divine existence”.

The foundational English course will include the introduction to the Mahabharata by C. Rajagopalchari, with the aim to develop students’ “leadership ability and humanistic attitude by focusing on various dimensions of personality development”.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the current social focus in India, where India fared worse than Bangladesh and Pakistan and is now ranked 100th among 106 countries in the global hunger index. These are the people running India now.

No doubt "NASA confirmed it".

Next up : Space travel by "ancient Indians" from more than 7000 years ago, satellite-augmented internet from Mahabharata times, ancient Indian expertise in in vitro fertilization etc.

Did the Hindutvadis develop humanistic attitude in themselves ? :)

"Hindutva extremism" and "humanistic attitude" should not belong to the same sentence I believe. :-)

I can't believe proven science is being hijacked by these regressive thought-goondas by force and by govt. decree.

Every two-bit fraud and dhokeybaaj street-corner goonda BJP functionary in India now has a roadmap to riches, by being more Hindu than the next Hindu.

Re-write and "invent" History, all in a bid to revive the "Glory" that Hindu India was.

Gullible Hindus in India are swallowing these stories like dumb fishes, as if these BS alone will elevate India to first world status.

Look how popular Indian Hindutva/Science-fiction mashups were and are. Hilarious.

Ra-One (Ravan) and the Bahubali series.. these people have to have a reason to feel good other than reality. All made up, nothing real.

I am confused. What is wrong if Engineering students are taught about Ram Sethu ?

So what else should Indian engineering students be taught ? "Ancient Indian" spacecraft that roamed that solar system ? Even NASA should learn from "Ancient Indians" :
Ancient Indian culture 7000 years ago knows how to create Vimanas to traverse the sky and beyond using a technology that NASA is still trying to harness today. There are many books and websites which forcefully and passionately assert that technologically advanced aircraft and spacecraft were in common use over the Indian subcontinent thousands of years ago. The sources also claim that advanced space propulsion technology being researched by NASA is in fact directly inspired by ancient flying machines. The references mentioned from Vedic texts such as Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Srimad Bhagavatham, Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Vaimanika Shastra and Samarangana Suthtradhara cites Vimanas that fly in air, water and land. They mention various propulsion including Mercury propulsion. Vaimanika Shastra provides complete manual for Design, Material selection, Manufacture, Operation, Space suits, Food, Tackling enemies, Becoming invisible etc. S.B.Talpade, Sanskrit scholar has designed and constructed an aircraft based on Vedic principles and demonstrated the first unmanned flight.
Read more of the document for more fun. @gulli, you will be interested in this. :D

You are very right about this idiotic film Baahubali. And the sensible Lower Caste Hindus don't like it too :
In his casteist post on Facebook, Baahubali director S S Rajamouli writes –

We learnt The Caste system from Manusmrithi was based on our lifestyle and not by birth. Mr. Prasad, A gentleman whom I play tennis with, told me a better expansion.

Panchama Jaathi (Untouchables) One who depends on others for his living. (Parasite)
Sudra One who lives for himself and his family.
Vysya One who makes profit for himself as well as for the person with whom he is trading with.
Kshatriya One who eats after the people under him have eaten.
Brahmin One who first learns and then teaches.

Baahubali director S S Rajamouli needs to come out of his cocoon and see the reality, who is really working and who are the parasites.

Caste groups those never did any work or are sitting in temples and begging are praised and Dalits who are working hard are labelled as “Parasite”.

Brahmins live on begging and since ages, they are sitting in temples and have made begging their profession. What have they taught to others? What is their contribution? Nothing.

An illiterate son of Brahmin can become a pujari at whichever temple he wants to but an educated Dalit can’t.

It’s the Dalit-Bahujans who are working in the factories, ploughing the fields and cleaning the streets not so-called upper castes especially Brahmins who are sitting idle and begging in temples.

If Manusmriti taught Baahubali director SS Rajamouli that Caste System was based on lifestyle, not by birth then how many Brahmins have become Dalit ever? Why is the caste of a child decided when he/she is born? This is lie and propaganda spread by Manuwadis that caste system was based on lifestyle/work etc but reality is different. How many educated Dalits have become Brahmins?

Will ever a Dalit who holds a PhD be treated as par with illiterate Brahmin? No. Isn’t it a reality of India?

Baahubali director S S Rajamouli’s casteist post is deeply offensive and casteist statements in which so-called lower castes are demonised and so-called upper castes are glorified.

Almost same casteist and racist mindset Rajamouli brought into his Baahubali series.

In the first part of Baahubali series, the sick director did his best to present dark skin people as villains (Kalakeyas) and perpetuated stereotypes in the society that how dark skin is associated to bad. Brahmins and Kshatriyas are shown light skinned and are given lead hero roles. Those who are shown as dark skin are the Mulnivasi of this country and director has done mischief to show them as villains and rakshaks.

Both parts of Baahubali movie try its best to establish the Aryan supremacy.

Presenting so-called lower castes as dirty and dark and villains is what Brahminical media does all the times. There is a strong need to create an alternative Bahujan culture.

Same casteist and racist nature of movie continue in the second part of Baahubali movie also. Brahminical rituals are promoted and at many occasions, different characters talk about the “Dharma of the Kshatriya” and glorify the position of Kshatriyas. Movie Baahubali promotes not only fake rituals but also Aryan supremacy and promotes Manusmriti.

What an irony that even after dividing India into thousands of castes so-called Brahmins are still considered patriots and glorified, such a shame.

Brahminical rituals are promoted and at many occasions, different characters talk about the “Dharma of the Kshatriya” and glorify the position of Kshatriyas. Movie Baahubali promotes not only fake rituals but also Aryan supremacy and promotes Manusmriti.

lol few idiots here and there , india has lesser number than other countries . thank god india is a secular society which has internal balancing mechanism . no danger from radical and intolerant form of religion to india .

Architectures and designs that are grounded and awe inspiring, say how we should build things that are adorned even now. Say this temple with a facade that shows Equinox when the sunlight directly pass through the windows.

I am sure we can find such structures all over the world.

For example there is Machu Picchu in South America built by the Incans :
Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use remains a mystery.― Google

From its wiki :
Intihuatana stone

Intihuatana is believed to have been designed as an astronomic clock or calendar by the Incas

The Intihuatana stone is one of many ritual stones in South America. These stones are arranged to point directly at the sun during the winter solstice. The name of the stone (perhaps coined by Bingham) derives from Quechua language: inti means "sun", and wata-, "to tie, hitch (up)". The suffix -naderives nouns for tools or places. Hence Intihuatana is literally an instrument or place to "tie up the sun", often expressed in English as "The Hitching Post of the Sun". The Inca believed the stone held the sun in its place along its annual path in the sky. The stone is situated at 13°9'48" S. At midday on 11 November and 30 January, the sun stands almost exactly above the pillar, casting no shadow. On 21 June, the stone casts the longest shadow on its southern side, and on 21 December a much shorter shadow on its northern side.
And more :
Inti Mach'ay and the Royal Feast of the Sun

Inti Mach'ay is a special cave used to observe the Royal Feast of the Sun. This festival was celebrated during the Incan month of Qhapaq Raymi. It began earlier in the month and concluded on the December solstice. On this day, noble boys were initiated into manhood by an ear-piercing ritual as they stood inside the cave and watched the sunrise.

Architecturally, Inti Mach'ay is the most significant structure at Machu Picchu. Its entrances, walls, steps, and windows are some of the finest masonry in the Incan Empire. The cave also includes a tunnel-like window unique among Incan structures, which was constructed to allow sunlight into the cave only during several days around the December solstice. For this reason, the cave was inaccessible for much of the year. Inti Mach'ay is located on the eastern side of Machu Picchu, just north of the "Condor Stone." Many of the caves surrounding this area were prehistorically used as tombs, yet there is no evidence that Mach'ay was a burial ground.

 The Bhagavad Gita must have been present for at least the last 2000 years. Have its followers enabled a harmonious India ? And a decade ago Russia was considering banning the Bhagavad Gita because of these reasons :
Court case

The court case was filed in June 2011 by the public prosecutor of Tomsk Victor Fyodotov. The prosecutor based his plea on an expert analysis of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is commissioned by the FSB. Its authors, three professors of Tomsk State University, Sergei Avanesov, Valery Svistunov, and Valery Naumov, concluded that Bhaktivedanta Swami's commentaries on the Bhagavad Gita contain "signs of fomenting religious hatred, denigration of human dignity on grounds of gender, race, nationality, language, origins, and religious conviction", claim exclusiveness of the Krishna religion, use derogatory terms against those who were not devotees of Krishna, and foster "social discord", "gender, race, nationality, and language" discrimination. In addition to this, it was alleged to contain "calls to hostile, violent actions against a number of social and religious groups".

The prosecutor thus charged the book as being in violation of the Federal law № 114-ФЗ ("On countering extremist activities") and petitioned the court to include Bhagavad Gita As It Is in the Federal List of Extremist Materials, which would ban its printing, possession, and distribution. The Federal List contains over 1,000 works, Hitler's Mein Kampf among them, considered as fomenting ethnic, social, and religious hatred.

And why does IIM-A even exist ? What is its contributions to humanity ?

Spend your outrage wisely. 😁There will be more.

OK.

Don't see anything wrong it studying it.

Those stones are 7000 years old ? Whatever the age of the stones it is certain that Hindus didn't even exist in India until 3000 years ago. They came from Iranic lands.

But why did this ape army going to Lanka to rescue Sita need a land bridge anyway ? Didn't they have those super duper vimana aircraft ? From my previously quoted "research" document of Professor Shivanandam M :
3.4 Ramayana

The seven greatest capital cities of Rama, developed fifteen thousand years ago in northern India and Pakistan was known as “The Seven Rishis Cities”. The people in the seven cities used different types of Vimanas such as double deck, circular shaped vimana with portholes and a dome.

They flew with the speed of sound and gave a melodious sound. The epic describes Vimanas of various shapes such as saucer shaped and long cylindrical shaped and various sizes such as Ahnihotra with two engines, elephant Vimanas with multi engines and others named after kingfisher, ibis and other animals. Generally Vimanas fall into two categories. Manmade spacecrafts that resemble aircraft and fly with birdlike wings. Spacecrafts with unstreamlined structures fly in a mysterious manner and generally are not made by human beings. They have features of UFO’s. The epic cites Pushpaga Vimana with swan soared into the sky with loud noise with king Ravana, Sita and Trijatta to make Sita to see the battle field.
Seven thousands years ago or fifteen thousand years ago ? Please decide.

Also, couldn't this Lanka-invading army simply build boats ? 🤔
