What's new

Employees of British Consulate allegedly involved in an abduction of a Pakistani girl in Karachi.

Was she exit stamped by FIA at the airport?
Might be / should be or may be she was sent U.K only on exit paper which provides on emergency when person wants to travel but don't have passport of native (British) Country, Exit paper was often called out pass.

.
IF this is a kidnapping then surely the Pakistani govt would have raised an alarm.
There is no reports no news and no comments from the Pakistani govt.

Have the uber nationalist Pakistani's who all appear to live in the west do not seem to be asking why there is not a peep.

Is it because this is NOT a kidnapping and NOT and abduction and NOT illegal ????????????????????????????

In that case the BHC must inform Foreign Office, there has been such cases in the past. This case is fishy.

And foreign office / local LEAs are usually more than cooperative in these cases. Such cases are given priority and proper resources. There's something wrong with this case that consulate officials chose to break the law.

If she's 18 and has British nationality, she can request the consulate to rescue her from her home or another location, if she tells them she is in Pakistan against her will, or was there under false pretenses. This is all based around forced marriage laws.

If they are going to take someone from their home they will ask for support from local police to gain access, but if she arranged to meet them somewhere, then they probably wouldn't.

I can 99% guarantee that's what's happened. The current British government would sell it's own mother to deport a brown face - they're not in the business of forcing them back to the UK.

Britain is a nation that already supports India against Pakistan. Let there be absolutely no shred of doubt. Britain undermines Pakistan in every possible way. For decades British intelligence has actively and intentionally aided MQM terrorists in Karachi. The innocent lives lost of so many Karachiites can be squarely blamed on the British government and intelligence. Our state doesn't even have the balls to confront the Brits. Their consulate in Pakistan is openly plotting against the state of Pakistan.

Absolutely. But who's to blame, pakistan government to busy doing useless chores.

You guys have a way of doing max possible damage to your own reputation with these premature and excessive reactions.

Some people want to cut diplomatic relations with UK, some want a counter-kidnapping staged, some here are just feeding off the anger to redirect it to the Pak govt.

It was obviously never a kidnapping in the first place. Its looking increasingly like a forced marriage issue and it's likely the authorities were involved. If there is a powerful local community involved, it would explain why the Pak authorities are keeping their involvement quiet.

what is interesting is that there may be a genuine case of kidnapping/forced detention here - but it's the one perpetrated by the parents or whoever was holding the girl.

Pakistan and the UK have most likely done a good thing here, but the people here will turn it into an own goal.

You cleverly managed to get yourself banned again, bravo

Try not to exploit every situation as an opportunity to bash your govt

Britain never wastes an opportunity to malign Pakistan.

Foreigners lecturing Pakistanis what is good and bad for them. Not just some foreigners, but our enemies.

If an Indian argues with Pakistanis, something is definitely off.

A clear case of abduction as the new details suggest. This is thuggery by the Brits. Diplomatic retaliation should follow.
